When I first started playing Dragon Age, I was immediately drawn to him because he reminds me of my husband! When I found out I could actually romance him... never looked back

 

Anders (in awakenings) would be a close second, and Cullen would be third. With Nathaniel Howe as my fourth.

So this is if we are in their universe, not ours. Their rules, with magic and evil and darkspawn and the such. Hmmm.

 

I've always been partial to Teagan from DAO, so he would be my first choice if this was my real life. I've always wished we could romance him, because he is hands down a favorite. He has just about every quality a girl could ask for.

 

Otherwise, Alistair because he has such a wonderful sense of humor, even when things gets awful. It would make life so nice, living with someone who could find the humor in every situation. I need humor in a partner. Doesn't hurt that he's awfully cute (I like the King Alistair in DAI too!) and says the sweetest things.

 

Anders - would prefer Awakening Anders, but would probably fall for him either way. He's snarky and smart and I fell for him as soon as I met him in Awakenings, so I'm pretty sure I would do the same thing if it was real and not a game. Also, we'd have cats. Lots of cats.

 

Blackwall, because once he truly starts to make amends he's just this loving, normal guy who likes to go fishing, watch jousting and has a great sense of humor (love his banters with Sera). Plus he's all burly and beardy with that dark hair and blue eyes. He also seems the type to accept a person for who they are (like he does with Sera), and I doubt he'd care (or notice?) if I didn't feel like styling my hair that day. In fact, he'd probably prefer the natural look, and wouldn't want me to dress in the latest fashions. I like pretty things, but they aren't always necessarily fashionable things. ((I'd totally fit more in with Ferelden, not Orlais.))

 

I love Dorian completely and utterly, but I have a hard time making him like women in my head, even as a hypothetical. I want my inquisitor to magically be real along side me (hey, if I can appear in a game world, so can he!), and they can be my otp. Not obsessed with them. Shhhh. But they are so perfect.

 

I haven't yet done Cullen's romance in game, but if this was a real me situation, then I could see it. He's a little serious, but seems loving and stable, and that's a good thing for a real relationship.

 

tl/dr: Top 3: Teagan, Alistair or Blackwall.

Josephine or Merrill, probably. They're both so sweet, I could imagine feeling really comfortable around them. Just talking about stupid stuff and cuddling or whatever. Though with Merrill she would probably adopt every cute animal we see... and maybe some not-so-cute ones... like spiders.

Dorian or Zevran. They're just too charming.

Probably no one.  My options would be Zevran, Anders, Fenris, Dorian, and Bull.  If we were going with the real me and what I look for in a guy, none of them have it. Bull's out because I'm not interested in a total top dom.  Zevran's out for numerous reasons (he checks off a ton of 'no' boxes for me).  Anders is out because he's way too emotional and high maintenance.  So that leaves:

 

Fenris - he's probably the best of the bunch, which is ironic because he'd rank 4th if you asked me to order the m/m LI's in order that I like them.  He's a little too broody and distant, but I like that better than clingy and emotional.  He's just physically not at all what I look for.  Skinny and hairless is the opposite of my physical type.

 

Dorian - he's the best looking of the bunch, for sure, but he's a bit of a snobby, catty, elitist.  I could be bf's with him, but I couldn't see myself being interested in more.  I know a bunch of guys like Dorian and I never ended up with any of them, so that's telling.  Plus, he's a slave owner and didn't really see any issues with that and that's kind of a deal breaker for me. 

 

I guess the tl; dr version is (most likely) no one, but if I had to pick one of the m/m options, I'd go with.......Fenris (and then force feed him to bulk him up).

I want someone who is sweet and can make me laugh. also, he and I are both romantics so I can see us getting along quite nicely. I also feel like he'd be willing to hug me after a bad day, plus he isn't bad on the eyes.

Everyone except Dorian, Ironbull and Sera.  Because I prefer my love-life to be more stable and without much papers or control etc.

 

My Ideal Romance = Josephine's and Blackwall's...  they control their emotions better than the rest.  Vivienne is my sugar-mommy lover for sure.. considering her age and her beloved, I don't care if she has a terrorist mind.

 

 

A real-life romance with Dorian - coming from a disturbing place like in the game and having parents that's not accepting the relationship is a..  NO NO NO.

Unhealthy relationship with Ironbull is a no either.

Sera ... Bah....  She won't know how to take care of my kids.... I don't want  to be the one in charge of my relationship, she won't either.

Well, my husband is a giant cheese-eating goofball with filthy socks so I would have to say Alistair!   Apart from that I'm not sure.  Maaaaaybe Cullen but I'm not sure if I'd be any good at handling his addiction issues and he would probably tire of my constant sarcasm and goofiness.  And while I enjoyed the Fenris romance in-game, I don't think I'd go near him in real life (even if magically tattooed murder-elves existed in real life) because he's a bit too...damaged?  Broody?  Has almost as short a temper as I do?  Would be double-plus ungood.

 

Saying that I could see myself being attracted to Solas at least in principle; he definitely sounded the most interesting to me pre-launch.

Either Alistair or Solas. I probably have more of a shot with Alistair though ). He's just got lower barriers, and maybe expectations.
