I think I'd try for Cassandra but we'd probably quarrel over my complete lack of faith/religion and any desire for such. if we could get past that we'd be good to go.

As much as I adore Alistair, I'd probably go for Cullen. The addiction thing doesn't bother me as its something that he's fixing himself and everything else about his character is amazing. I don't see how I could not fall for him.

Alistair would be my pick from DA:O. I didn't choose Alistair in my game because I preferred to go with Leliana even though I'm only sort of bicurious in RL. Alistair is cute and funny though some of his humor might get old.

If he were less religious and chaste, I'd be attracted to Sebastian. He has such a cute accent. But Varric is my favorite personality-wise. Loyal, caring, creative... Those are qualities I like about Anders too, but I couldn't handle his political extremism even if he weren't possessed. I do have a soft spot for guys who like cats.

Dorian and Cullen are the two characters I'm most attracted to. I love that wild, unconventional side of Dorian and his charming humor. He'd probably find me too boring though even if he did go for women. Cullen is conversely a bit too serious... without the addiction thing we could possibly get along since his shyness about romance is really endearing and I like his dedication.

If Iron Bull were human (therefore not a proponent of the Qun) and not quite so... large, he'd make me weak in the knees. He has a really fun, accepting, respectful personality and would give me the space I often desire. I'm glad he's open to a committed relationship. I'd love the BDSM as long as it wasn't focused on pain.

Solas reminds me of my ex. Detached, logical, open-minded, passionate about history, even the self-superiority. I'd be attracted to his knowledge and enjoy our intellectual discussions. And I have a bit of a thing for slim bald men.

DA:I love interests are all too appealing in their own ways to pick just one...

Edwin's killed before tho.

Your right. If I fell out of the sky with a bunch of God wantabes running around. I find Varric first cause he's got a big heart. I would rub Dorions feet to if he keeps me safe

Oh man this is a tough one.

Kaidan is my first pick. I love everything about him. He's sexy, smart, and adorkable. The development of his relationship with my Shepard across three games probably ruined me for other video game character romances.

It doesn't hurt that he's based on Luciano Costa.

Spoiler

Nuff said.

Alistair is my first video game crush for a reason. He's my type in almost every way.

Dorian is the most charming and romantic of them all. I'd probably fall for him first if I ever met the three of them simultaneously. The only thing stopping him from inching to the top of the list, and I know it's superficial but it's a pet peeve of mine, is that I can't date a guy with a moustache in the 21st century so he'll have to shave it and I don't see him doing that for ANYONE.  :P We'd probably end up friends though.

Then there's Cassandra. I'm gay but once in a (long) while a woman can hit all the right buttons. Cassandra is one. Although frankly it would have to be an open relationship and I don't think she'd approve so woops :P

I probably wouldn't be interested in any of them. None of them are at all geeky enough for me nor do any of them genuinely make me laugh. Cullen and Alistair make me "awww" but I am not looking for a puppy to moon over. I am also not into blonds. Seriously, BioWare, can we get some hot dark haired romances up in this joint for the ladies? I guess out of all of them, I found Dorian to be the most attractive in looks and personality.

Haven't you heard Solas and Dorian geeking out over technical magical crap? Omg it's so hot.

Yeah, the "being boring" thing is probably what would be the issue for me. BUT you know what they say, opposites attract. A wild and unconventional person can find a counter to their own personality in someone who is boring and safe (the safe part is important).

Leliana definitely.

Josephine would be a close second though. Maybe Cullen too

After having her in the game for more than five minutes, I think Bethany is my final answer. Sexy, approachable, compassionate, moral.

Yup. If she wasn't my sister I'd be all over that.

Ah, not to get too personal but that was the issue with my ex and I. I'm too "boring" for the likes of a rebel such as Dorian, but I'm an extrovert who likes space and freedom. My ex was my opposite: predictable, introverted, could focus on one thing for a long time, clingy. I liked the stability, but it didn't work in the end.

The DA: I love interests are so varied that they're helping me try to figure out what kind of man WOULD be right for me. It seems to be a mix of responsible and yet humorous, spontaneous, and fun with thrilling intellectualism.

None of the DAI LIs that's for sure.

I guess Leliana, she has fashion taste.

Honestly, in real life (or Dragon Age real life), I think every single romance option basically has a sign of 'I HAVE EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE LIKE MAJOR; not issues, subscriptions!'.   Add on to the amount of 'ALSO I AM LYING TO YOU' (all of the Origins romances start off keeping important secrets from you (though at least Lei and Ali come clean pretty early), Anders is doing this like crazy and Isabella isn't much better, and then we have Blackwall and Solas) isn't very healthy.

While I could imagine entering romances with quite a few characters, I think the majority would turn out destructive and probably ending with explosions (especially if Anders is involved).

So, honestly, maybe Josie, who seems to be the most emotionally sound of the group.  Still, I don't think I'd want to come in the way of an arranged marriage, either... I mean, ye gods, I certainly wouldn't enter a duel against her wishes for her (not to mention that I'd LOSE)!  So that might fizzle out before it even gets started.

Oh my goodness. Well I can definitely say that if I was gay, I would totally romance Josephine! She's beautiful, intelligent and such a lovely person! Other than that, I think I would romance Alistair, because he's sweet and charming and I can relate to him in some way. I'd like Varric as well, as he's supportive and loyal. I would probably like Dorian too but as he's gay I'd have no chance . I don't think I'd romance anyone else though - heck I don't think I'd get along with any of the DA2 romance-option characters in real life. Despite having a preference for elves I didn't really like Fenris that much (I only made my Hawke romance him because I think he's good-looking), and I don't think I would trust Zevran to be in a committed relationship with me (even though he does become committed to the Warden), I can't stand Anders and Sebastian is too religious for my taste. As for the rest of the DAI romance options... I don't know. I don't think I'd be interested in the Iron Bull because of his allegiance to the Qun (plus I really don't have a thing for big muscled men - sorry!)

So yeah, in the long run it would probably be with Alistair or Varric.

Hmm.

Alistair, Fenris, Cullen, Josephine, Dorian (but he's gay so I'd have no chance) and maybe Cassandra (straight, so no chance). I would even say Solas if he wasn't so.. y'know?

Of course this is ignoring all of the fantasy factors. >.<

Of all characters in the DA world, Morrigan is the one whom I identify with the most. I am not as crazy about her as others, though. Quite frankly her romance left me cold until she finally started acting like my significant-other late in the game. However, if it's purely a matter of compatibility, then Morrigan is the best match for me. Cassandra is similarly compatible. Better lover than Morrigan, too (and a body type I much prefer to Morrigan's). Something about this romance did not do it for me either, though.

As far as in-game romances go, I liked Isabela's the best. She's fun; I enjoyed her company. When she comes around to you, then it really heats up and became satisfying to me. I am even quite accommodating to her perverse sexual nature... with my own. When she wanted to bang Zevran in the field after killing some 'Crows, I only objected to not being invited, lol.

I'd have also been interested in Inquisition!Leliana. Her political views are crazy, but other than that, I was in love.
