Hi all,

 

I've just finished act 2 and I actually accepted Shandra's proposal to stay with me, and i said i would have never left her anymore lol, i can't believe I said that.

 

And now she is a fifth companion. Do i get to control her as I do with other characters ?

Or will she be just a burden like often the summons are ?

 

I do not plan to have another fighter in my main party anyway.

 

So, since i have just done that, I just wanted to ask if it's better to accept her or should i reload and refuse her joining the party.  (if it's possible not to accept her anyway).

I would like to tell you that you should keep her, but you really have no choice - she's there whether you love her or hate her.  She's a central part of the story for the next few episodes - her conversation, that is, and a drop of blood to get into the elusive Haven.  But eventually you'll have that slot back.

 

She is much better than a summons, though.  A full character and an excellent fighter .... er, "sword swinger."

ok thanks, i will try to love her then. So even if during the conversation I refused to let her join, she would join anyway ?

the OC Makeover allows a choice in that matter, or at least I seem to remember some talk about it when it was being designed. I've never played the OC with it, so I can't confirm it, nor I know if you can use it on an existing save or need to restart again for it to work properly.
