Greetings. I want your opinions on the following.

I would guess I am roughly halfway through my first playthrough and I realized I Always run the same people together with the same other people (if that sentence makes sense?). So the same partymembers Always adventure and interact with eachother, and never really meet any of the others. I got my 3 Little "squads" and flip them around whenever I feel I need some fresh faces.

So I started to Think I should really mix it up instead of doing like this. I Think I would get totally different party banters and maybe other surprises? I tried to google for what could be the best party mix in DAI, only to realize there are as many opinions about this as there are players.

So instead I would want some input on what you would Think about running a totally randomly generated Group every time there is a need/cause/want to form a new party from the companion screen?

I figured I just toss a Dice or something and whoever gets picked, gets picked. I Think there are 2 ways to do this. Any inputs and thoughts on this?

(I have recruited all 9 companions)

1. Random Number Between (RNB) 1-9, then 1-8, then 1-7. Whoever gets picked gets picked. It could be one of each class or Three of the same. Or a mix.

2. RNB 1-3, 1-3, 1-3 and pick a random party member from each class.

I already realize that if I chose to go with option 1. then I will sometimes be adventuring without a tank, and other times no rogue to pick locks. But maybe that would be a fun challenge? Other than that, I would like to hear your thoughts about if this could be fun or just dumb? And is there:

* anything I need to pay attention to if I start to play with random Groups?

* Would this method mess up a lot of content where it is adviceable to bring specific companions to specific areas?

* Recommended to finish first playthrough in a normal fashion or start doing this right away? If so, why? (I don´t mind minor spoilers if they are allowed in Combat & Strategy section)

* Other thoughts?

I like the idea. Getting to hear the banter between characters which share a class is pretty rare.

I've actually started doing this so it feels more like I am playing with all 9 companions, not only 3. Plus you get more variety in combat styles and more use for all of your loot if you are using 9 different fighting styles. And you get to hear more banter as well, if you keep the same 3 all the time they will run out of things to say pretty fast. I just used random.org to roll a party each time.

I do make sure to always have at least 1 of each class so I can get past class-specific barriers, though. Annoying cause I would prefer to be able to try wonky stuff like 3 rogues, but I'm too OCD to risk missing out on loot because I don't have a mage or w/e.
