I found it interesting that, if you talk to Harding in Skyhold, she says Varric was talking to her about copper marigolds. Made me go hmmm....
Me too, me too! This is why I don't want Harding to be romanceable.

Anders so I could give him the full support of the Inquisition in his war of annihilation against the chantry.
Seriously, Anders the mass murdering abomination has supporters? That's scary...
Adrian and Tallis (in-person).
My bonfire was empty :<

I liked Anders the snarky Warden Mage. I liked Justice the inept but driven Spirit. I didn't like their combination.
I imagine Cole and Justice's interaction would be interesting.
I was really disappointed that Herren and Wade only made an appearance in a war table mission. When I heard that there would be 10 high dragons in this game, I was so looking forward to rile Herren up to no end. I would go to them after each dragon kill and deliver scales and bones. To say it in Wade's words "It would have been glorious!"
They would have been the perfect replacements for the whatshisname smith in Skyhold.

You mean the man who executed a well planned decapitation strike against the chantry command structure in Kirkwall? Hell yes, I could have offered him pointers, like waiting until either Orsino or Meredith was in the congregation, but as it statnds, well planned, well executed strategic operation.

Ooh yes! I remember that but I never made the connection, I just figured that he was telling tales to Harding. Oh I hope so, Varric deserves so much more than that whiny, interfering shrew-dwarf. Did I mention I didn't like her ![]()

The Abomination that according to canon murdered hundreds of people to start a war between the Templars and Mages that neither side could win causing the deaths of countless more people and unknowingly helping Corypheus's plans.

The Hero of Ferelden
Given the importance of eluvians to Inquisition's plot, I'm honestly amazed we didn't see Merrill. And on a similar note, the heavy Tevinter involvement in the story meant a lack of Fenris really stung; I would've loved to see him and Dorian interact. Lack of a physical Maevaris appearance hurts me.

I thought this was a reference to the plate that a Aveline gives donnic when she is courting him

It is, absolutely. That's the point. The fact that he mentions copper marigolds to Harding makes me wonder if he maybe likes her?

The man whose entire point was just to become a footnote to Corphyfish when the Mage/templar war got sorted before act 1 even ended.
I see. I can't see That per se. He's too hung up on Bianca (now may be cassandra?
)
I was kind of hoping to see Sebastian again... and also Queen Anora now that I'm thinking about it. They each had a war table mission, but that didn't really do it for me.
If you side with Mages Queen Anora (and King Alistair if that's a thing) show up for a cameo.
Son of a gun...
I sided with the Templars...
Well, at least she's in the game, at least.
I would have loved to have seen a flashback sequence in the game depicting Cole killing Lambert.
I would have also liked the option to temporarily go to the Kirkwall Gallows just to so we could smash the red lyrium-petrified Meredith into pieces and then throw her shattered remains into the deepest part of the sea. She deserves to be vilified and reminder to all Templars of what they should NOT be.
The Crows were absent in the entire game which is odd since the guild could have made a lot of money working with the Inquisition. Plus, it would've been nice to have been able to place Zevran as the new Guildmaster... after killing any Crows that would oppose.
Also, anyone else disappointed that a Qunari Inquisitor can't rip people's heads off? Would've made for an awesome moment if we could have done that to Florianne after publicly exposing her crime. All of Orlais would know not to mess with Inquisitor.
