Glad to see I'm not the only one who wanted to punt Bianca into the sun.

No one from past games I particularly want to murder (unless Patrice rose from the grave she is rightfully in), I'm just not a murder knife kind of girl most of the time.

I would've loved to have seen Aveline again, but having her pop up once in a while on the War Table was acceptable. I don't really like when cameos are shoehorned in, I prefer when they make sense and have weight, like Hawke's & whoever their Warden friend winds up being. Heck, I don't even mind never seeing Zevran. Why?Because he's the only DA:O love interest still actually hanging out with the Warden, which pleases me. ;)

I am always up for more Shale, though. MORE SHALE PLZ

See now that's something I can't see. Varric and Cassandra? I dunno... I'd have to hear a pretty convincing argument why that wouldn't be an absolute train wreck. Lol!

I can kind of get it, he's always metaphorically pulling her pigtails isn't he?  And, he's so upset when she's angry with him over not revealing the whereabouts of Hawke.  They also both like smutty literature.  Yep, I can definitely see it.

ETA:  But yes, I think it would be a train wreck!

If skyhold had a torture chamber I would have loved to see Tallis return. With the right dissection tools we may have found out what hypocrisy is made of.

Bioware probably chickened out of adding an optional torture room in Skyhold to avoid controversy.

If the torture would be restricted to men alone I doubt there would be any controversy.

Untrue. GTA V's torture scene is considered to be pretty controversial, and the victim is a man.

In any case, I think BioWare is better off never allowing us to torture people in the game, and really, it's not like the people who like this will ever be satisfied. You'd get some git who will post pictures of real tools and ask why we can't use this or that, or the torture is too sanitized or some crap like that.

Can someone explain to me what's with the Tallis hate? I don't get it.

I think you're grasping at straws to be offended about something.

Not really.

I would have liked to see Velanna, or at least get a codex entry telling me one of the Dalish tales she wrote down in her book.

I would have liked to see Nathaniel again. If it had been him versus Hawke...

I would have liked to hear more from Bhelen and Orzammar. What I got wasn't enough

Anders.

Even though I already killed him in DA2. I wanted him to be resurrected, so that I could kill him again.

Gawd I hate Anders XD

I assume it's because she lied to Hawke and there's nothing that can be done about it. Personally I had a lot of fun in MoTA and Hawke being friendly/flirtatious (especially with romanced Isabela in the group) was very amusing and my preferred route, but it only really works going in that direction, which is kind of a problem.

Sandal. :) Or Shale! Or Isabela, but not really, since I am not sure where she'd fit into the story. I do want to see her again though.

I personally would have enjoyed to see Sandal return. Not because he's a joke character, but because I would have like to see an expansion of his foreshadowing in DA2. That was interesting to me, and I'd have loved to see it expanded upon, rather than him just becoming a spooky M'aiq the Liar.

Something to do with Merril's Eluvian would have been nice, too.

I'd have also enjoyed seeing Shale and Sten return, even if it was only for dwarven / qunari inquisitors, and even if it was just on the war table or something.

Oh, and Hawke's dog. The possible foreshadowing banter between Solas and the Mabari would have been interesting, especially considering the codex you pick up about Fen'Harel and the Chaser Hound and him not really liking dogs anymore and such.

O.o Really? Huh. I guess the lying didn't really bother me much. I liked her character and had fun with the DLC.

Well, she tricked you into getting her a list of Qunari converts and possibly spies, and it's not possible to take the list from her, or assault her and stop her from getting away with the list. So you've been manipulated, and there are enemy spies on the loose - and she herself is an enemy. So... yeah, not much love there.

It's a mix of things. If it had only been the lying or manipulating and had her getting away with it been an isolated event, she wouldn't have bothered me much. It's not like you can expect to be able to kill a female in a cut-scene in a dragon age game.

It is her blatant hypocrisy that annoys me the most. One moment she's like "yeah I love killing people" the other moment she's like "do we really have to hurt people" or "those poor spies shouldn't be killed because euhm all life is sacred". Like the mission of those spies was to uncover old nan's cake recipe.

Although it isn't really part of her personality, you can't uncouple the many scene that have to show how 'cool' she is and the bad voice acting.

My mistake then.

Either way, satisfying people with a torture fetish shouldn't be the reason to include a torture chamber in the same way ale houses shouldn't be included to make players with an alcohol problem happy. Unlike DAO and DAII it makes sense for skyhold to have one, with the option to use it as an alternate route during some side missions. Personally I would argue for very limited options and everything happening off-sreen. However, in games where you can see knives in heads of scholars and well written books, planting a knife in a leg shouldn't be the end of the world.

Evangeline, though... no. Just no. Maybe it's my inner schoolgirl talking, but: if you travel with a guy and his ex, you *don't* make any moves on him. Not classy.

I really can't recall her making any "moves". If anything, I found this romance development severly lacking. I already knew, that they were supposed to fall in love, but the only thing acknowledged between them was mutual atraction.

Not to mention, that this part of relationship between Rhys and Adrian was over for quite some time. So what? She was supposed to be a c**ckblok forever?

Back on topic - I'd happily jump on a chance to kick Tallis. I don't feel any big urge to kill her, but a solid kick in the head - yes, please

And I'd go through fade and back for a Chance to meet Zevran, Fenris and Shale  :D

While I'm okay with Tallis, the fact that there was no option to kill Tallis and take the list away by force so we could hunt down the Qunari spies ourselves was rather annoying.

I'm wondering if there will ever be a moment to see the HoF again, i highly doubt it, i'm suprised s/he's even mentioned in DA3 however BW didn't have a choice in this matter really because of the imports/choices in DAO.

The ones that SHOULD! have returned :

Hawke for more then it is now.

Carver/Bethany as Templar/Circle Mage/Grey Warden (if alive/depends on choice made or appear either way)

Merril - Eluvian stuff. also when you have done Winter Palace already (recruited Morrigan) and not yet done Hawkes quest and Hawke romanced Merril then for sure.

Anders - Depending if you let him live, else Justice inwd the fade haunting Hawke or something.

Anyone that Hawke romanced in DA2 (Except Anders if dead/haunt when in fade)

The ones i'd like to see again just for fun:

Oghren - Just for fun :)

Sigrun - She was fun also.

Velanna - just to see her again.

Shale - She was traveling the world as far as i remember.

Zevran - just for fun.

But it's not just characters i'd like to see again it's also locations/places.

Deeproads, Denerim even Kirkwall.. if it's just to visit and close a rift or 2.

Grey Warden castle where that guy is still experimenting (if alive).

Maybe even visit a Circle Tower.

Visit Amaranthine or the Grey Warden base there..

I guess I just presumed it was going to feature in another game so that's why she was allowed to get away. Of course, that didn't happen in DAI. Is she even referenced in the game?

I personally don't want any inclusion for a character that can be dead
