Moving on from all the wailing and gnashing over the Reaver.

Let me start off by saying I'm a long way from super experienced with shorty.  I've promoted her once and was back up to Rank 16 before Patchgate.

However last night, sprint seemed to be faster, target tracking better.  I'm used to dying quite a bit and found it much more fun and I only died once in the first game on wave 5 (Threatening BTW) and not that much in the later ones either.

It got to the point after a couple of games I started wondering if it was a hacked game and changed lobbies but it was just the same afterwards so I guess not.

Am I imagining things?

It's stability fixes that make tracking better or its your brain recognizing false patterns.

Clearly, this is an issue caused by lack of Superb Life Drain Ring.

Why do those little tiny raptors cause more of a stagger on hit than a bear anyway?

It's a poison attack, isn't it? That was my assumption, but I could easily be mistaken.

I believe so too, as you seem to be dazed rather than just knocked back.

I'd like to see this evidence.

We all would !

The Superb Ring of Life Drain is the solution to so many of life's problems.

Alchemist has definitely grown on me.  It's not my best class, but it's a lot of fun.

Are we talking about the poisonous deepstalkers or the stunning gibbering horrors?

After trying to play Assassin on Perilous and dying to every stray arrow and swing whenever I got near anything (I only have 350 dps daggers, not 450 so I don't 1 shot things).  I'm really starting to value the extra CC and survivability the alchemist has.  I run mine without stealth though.

Deepstalkers. The little bastards run up, snap at you and leave you wobbling.

The Gibbering Horrors suck because you know it's coming. The deepstalkers can sneak up on you while you're in a crowd, barely hanging in there and screw your day. I hate 'em. I go after them like my nephew does my liquour cabinet when he's here.

Thats odd, in the games I join Deepstalkers are always wiped out shortly after spitting poison (most of the time they dont even get to do that) it just sucks getting infinitely stunned cuz your team cant handle a red templar shadow...

I'm having the same experience.  Up till the new patch, I was lucky to ever make it through a single zone without dying with the Alchemist.  Then I played her a few times yesterday just for the amusing dialogue, and each match I died once.  I can't place what's different (if anything even is).  But I didn't have time to play today, so I'm not sure if it was just a weird streak of luck or what.  Or maybe I just had that moment like I did in ME3, where I went from failing on gold horribly with my best character, to being able to carry gold with almost any character overnight.

True. If you have a mage with chain lightning, they're easy to dispatch of. Or a decent tank and shield.

Hell, truth be known it could just be me. The little bastards give me a hard time.
