Started a portrait of Alistair ![]()

Al looks great, Tesh!
It really looks like him. ![]()
Here are a couple drawings I did for inktober:

Aida and Zander from Ascension, again.
And an Abelas:

Thanks, Pro
Glad you like the drawing so far ![]()
Really love how Abelas turned out. Very nicely done ![]()
Hi everyone! Please don't stop drawing and posting! I promise to come back soon with new art of my own ![]()
*daydream* haaaaa Alistair *sigh* I do not know if I like his nose or his chin ^^
I do not remember Abelas very well ...I know he is in Inquisition, but his character didn't make a strong impression on me. But he looks good ![]()
Since I'm at my mom's house and evening are quite long without my own computer, I keep practicing...

@Mor - Your practice is going really well. That nose and mouth looks great
Keep it up!
Mmmm Mor those lips look yummy, but I really like how you drew the nose (who'd imagine one day I'd prefer a nose to a mouth
)
Working on a DA fanfic/fanart swap, and these are the quick sketches I came up with for my partner to choose from:

Wow, some interesting poses there, Tesh! I really like the shamisen-like one (the last one) I think you really nailed the foreshortening of the upper leg and the position of the arms when holding such an instrument.
Worked a bit more on Aevalle Lavellan for the DA fanfic/fanart swap ![]()

Wow looking so good, I always love your clothing design ![]()
Thanks, Vor
Glad you like her so far. The dress is inspired by Chinese gowns and Celene's outfit. I am planning on drawing this in black and white with a splash of gold.
Lovely choice of colours! Your contrasts look so elegant ![]()
I loved Celene's outfit, but I was kind of disappointed with the Orlesian ball; even taking into account development limitations, I hoped the clothing design to be... different. More over the top, maybe. Specially the masks; in The Masked Empire it's explained that masks bear the colour of each noble house and materials vary according to position (richer for the family, simpler for the servants who also wear masks except the ones away from the people such as cooks); but ingame they all look mostly the same ![]()
It's limited time and budget
This is why it is awesome that books are available as well, where you can let your imagination wander. As far as the game is concerned, I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and the play style was fun as well, so I think Bioware did a good job with DA:I.
Oh, and I will make a change in the drawing. I will make the dress go only over one shoulder. The other shoulder will be revealed, and have a cyberpunk-ish prosthetic arm. I am not particularly good at drawing gizmos from imagination, so it might end up being a robotic sci-fi arm O____O
So far, I like your Lavellan Tesh
I think with a bit of cyberpunk aesthetics I will love it ^^
Details, details, details... Yay ![]()

I hate that when RL stuff makes me feel bad it also makes me feel numb and unable to do any of the things I love. Today I finally managed to work again on my 5 Lavellan images project; I started working on another of them, this one will be done in pencils only, it's supposed to represent a moment of relax in the bath.
I'm not very happy about the face; I definitely have to go back to Loomis and get some practice.
When in doubt, always go back to basics
Regardless of skill level, it is always good to get a refresher. I like her expression, though. A little mischievous ![]()
Definitely! Unless you practice every day, which I don't do, you're bound to forget some things and reinforcing the basics is always good. What I'm quite happy about is the hair though, I think I managed to convey the look of wet hair.
Glad you like the expression, Tesh
That was the look I was going for, I'll try to refine it a bit in the next attempt.
Aaah I miss drawing T___T
Work is killing me.
Awww poor Ceru!
![]()
Stay strong! I'm sure the tough times with work will end soon ![]()
Aaah I miss drawing T___T
Work is killing me.
Poor Ceru... I know your pain, but hang in there. We'll be waiting for you
Back to drawing yay! Anyone else still drawing?
Trying to construct character sheets of my two Lavellans, first step is to try creating their body type... For unknown reason I really want my two Lavellans to have different body. Not sure about proportion/anatomy/pose at all, there's not really any photo references for this (-_-")
Revas is the taller one (7 heads) & more curvy, Luthiel is much smaller (6.5 heads with slightly shorter legs), less curves and smaller shoulders. Headcannon that Revas is the Inquisitor when Luthiel is the tagalong little sister who came to join Big Sis.
Armors to be added ![]()
Wow Ceru, and you didn't draw anything all this time? It looks like you were practising regularly!!
I love how you show the different poses and attitude; but maybe if you want Revas to look more curvy, her hips should be a bit rounder?
I'm still with my Lavellan project but RL is making it difficult (emotionally, unfortunately I have way too much spare time on my hands...) I need to practice face construction for the second drawing of the project, I want to do it as soon as I recover from a small cold I have.
