After a quick google search, I found that I am not the only one having this problem, although I have found no solutions.
In the party member select screen (in camp / or town) I cannot choose Allaistar or Sten. Seems that Morghana is blocking Sten and the dog is blocking Allaistar. Placing my cursor over the characters will not "highlight" them. Does anyone know a keyboard command to select characters? I am going to attempt to switch resolutions to see if that helps. (I'm running XP and I think I have res set to 800x600).
I have since tried every available resolution and still am having the same problem. I am at a point in the game, in the camp, where all the party members were removed and I have to refil, but I can only fill the characters in the front of that screen.

Ok I've solved my problem...somehow. Originally a restart did not correct the problem. But, I have changed the resolution, closed the game, than I closed the Windows Vista Dock at the top of my desktop, restarted the game, now I'm all good.

If you have the problem again, go to your options and look at in game controls. You can use the keyboard to select people in your party.

Seems this problem is still occurring : happened to me the first time last night. Resolution change solution seems to make some kind of sense, since when it happens the alignment between the mouse cursor position and the characters on screen seems to be out. Even the characters which are selectable (front row) are only highlighted when the mouse cursor is high above their heads. So you simply cannot move the mouse high enough to select the back row. I ended up playing with the members I could select, and when I left Lothering and got into camp the first time the problem had resolved itself. I have the latest patches installed.
