Okay so I totally cheated on my first perspective practice for the weekend....

...with Witcher 3 coming up, I had to pick my favorite sexxy one eyed elf!! But it was even better because I didn't have to draw the far eye!!



But I got Iorveth out of my system now

Hey so I thought font had a screenie of Cullen reading a report, and she does, but it's either head on or full profile...who am I thinking of that had a screenie 3/4 turn??

@Qween OMG OMG OMG IORVETH<3  he looks great, I am so glad you did his portrait it made me realise how much I miss him, I just installed Witcher 2 again. I am gonna have to do him sometime too.

@Shantia: I hear he's in W3 too preeetty...it was great playing W2 again because it had been so long and the politics was so confusing the first time, it felt like playing it brand new again

And yesss after Jon Snow's poneytail, your iorveth would be great to see fabric for his bandana was interesting...I'm pretty sloppy with fabric

@Qween I have actuallly not checked out the 3rd one too much which is bad because I love the first 2 and probably will play 3rd aswell, well if Iorveth is there I am definatley playing it

 

I found so many places were scary in TW2, like when you go into that mine and it is all dark, I cheated so I could use the fire sign all the time, so that I could see hahaha.

There were scary places! Dumb crypts all over the place and I had to ask my husband to stay in the room while I played and I modded for super fast health regen...I think it helped with my nervousness because I knew I couldn't be surprised and then dead

they're launching the toolkit with the game, so I'll probably totally cheat again!!

Sorry, soooo OT but it just made me realize, maybe I'll freak myself out and try drawing a DAO Hurlock! Those things still scare me to death! I'll need to keep hubby in the room ...

@Qween hahaha, yes I love godmode cheats, I mostly paly games for their good stories not the challenge of beign able to kill some creepy creature hehe. (singleplayer games that is)

 

You should definatley try a hurlock, I've been too scared to fail to do any "monster" paintings yet.

When I get pretty boys out of my system, hurlocks next ceru might be a while, we are talking about the many pretty faces of commander cullen after all

And ooo yay, I'm not the only one who succumbs to easy mode or god mode *phew!* I just want a good story with lots of cut scenes

@ Qween - I have only played the first Witcher for a couple of hours, so I have no clue who the Elf is, but he's looking good It's ok to cheat sometimes

 

@ Ceru - Yay for Han Solo I love Star Wars, and cannot wait for the new movie to come out So, Luke and Leia will be next?

Qween, it's a touching piece I think it might be worthwhile for you to practice construction a bit. So - more drawings at weird angles!

Oh most definitely!! I consider this baseline, Tesh by construction, do you means circles and lines? terminology...

Yep, circles and lines - building your characters from basic geometrical shapes.

@Tesh: WHY do everyone wants Luke & Leia? When I show that drawings to my friend everyone's asking Luke & Leia! Come on, let's say it: Yoda & Chewy ROCKS more!!!

 

Finally finished Cullen. However I still got some problem to "digitalize" the drawing since my scanner can't get the soft shading at all. And my cell-phone cameras' not good enough for final one...

As for Luke and Leia, it's just what I assumed you'd do next, not what I would actually want. What I would want is Lord Helmet But I will settle for Yoda

Drawing Yoda I am. Difficult to draw he is. Getting Luke and Leia you will. Blackmail I get, chocolate it is, if the twins will be drawn... (someone's blackmailing me with chocolate for Luke & Leia... What I won't do for chocolate XD)

 

But Obi Wan's the next full rendering I guess... but that white hair... ouch...

This was supposed to be quick sketch under 1h... Took 1h30 since this angle is still quite new. First drawing on a new sketchbook, just finished my A4 one
