@ Lynas - I think those would look great coloured in Copic markers ![]()
@Lynas wow very nice! I support Tesh markers idea ![]()
Thriced! (does this word even exist?)
@ Lynas - I think those would look great coloured in Copic markers
I'll try it !
Double post sorry ![]()
Did this today, but too bad i started on my little note book ![]()
@Ceru if "thriced" doesn't exist, it should!
@Lynas It does look like it grew out the page
I like your shading, it's supposed to be a metallic surface, right? I was asking about this a couple days ago, I think your shading can make a good reference to take into account.
Yea, this one is a metallic ... dog/wolf ![]()
@ Lynas - Your mechanized animals look really cool. I am aware that they must be part of a franchise, but I am too old to know of what is new on the market
You might want to introduce a couple of more tones in your shading next time, but your shading so far is really good ![]()
Actually i can't do different tone, my pencil don't allow me to lol i need to change it ^^ (or i'm not good at it xD)
Thank you for your advice ![]()
Ps : this wolf is metalgarurumon a digimon lol
Good idea, i'll try that ![]()
My work today :
The harder part for me here was his "legs" (not sure of the word in english for a pet). I don't like how it look :/ i know there is something wrong with it but i can't find it.
@ Lynas - It's "paws"
And they always give me problems as well - not that I paint animals very often. It looks great, though, and I especially like the touch of colour. If you are ever unsure about anything, try to find a reference, and study it closely ![]()
Here are some examples:
That didnt cross my mind, don't know why lol
Thank you for the advice ![]()
So here it is, my Ghilan'nain! I wish I had one of those white pencils for highlights, but alas I couldn't go out to buy one yet.
@ Vor - Looks great! The shading on the metal surface is done well, and I like how the glass looks as well
Sooo... colour version next? ![]()
Thank you, Tesh! I'm so glad the metal and glass surfaces look good, they were my main worries. Yes, colour is coming ![]()
Coloured Ghilan'nain... Yessss... ![]()
Winter School Term
Finished stuffs from last week end:
Door to a secret world:
(No-text, separated version)
Part 1: Outside Looking In
Part 2: Imagination
Part 3: Watch as it comes to life
@ Ceru - The colours look really good
I really like how the snow puffs up around her feet, and how it clings to the bottom of her cloak. It's a really nice touch
The shading on her face is done well too
Ceru, look at you! You are improving so much! ![]()
Del's Portrait. Still too many mistakes but I'm done, done and done with it... Time to move on to other pocket quizzies & CULLEN!
V1
V2
Ceru, she has turned out really well! It's unbelievable how much progress you have made with construction and shading
I completely understand your feelings on the portrait, however. I've been there many times, where I had worked on something for so long, I did not even want to look at it anymore. That's why I work on two or three projects simultaneously, and I alternate between them
I like V1 better, because it has a bit of a background to it ![]()
Great job, and looking forward to seeing more ![]()
@Tesh: thanks ![]()
The frustrating part gets rather high at the end with adjusting all the values to go well together, so it was really rushed TBH. Your idea of doing 2 or 3 on parallel is a good one, guess that I'll do that too ![]()
Any progress with Hubby or Fuzzball?
Say, which part of the drawing that your eyes fell to at first glance?
Good job, Ceru! I like v2 better, but don't mind me, Tesh is the expert here
I'm sure even if it was difficult, you'll make great use of what you learned with this drawing ![]()
