So, what have you all been gaming?

Having a quick hiatus at present, the past year having been totally monopolised by Divinity Original Sin, a rather belated Bioshock Infinite and of course Inquisition. Tomorrow sees the release of Gat Out Of Hell, so I guess I'll be having motion sickness, annoyingly persistent ear-worms and mindless violence for the next couple of weeks. ![]()

Just been continuing my nostalgic slip-stream, honestly... Just finished yet another play-through of the Starcraft 2: WoL campaign, in an attempt to make it as canonical as possible...easy way to get my RTS fix from a game I already know I love. Also, been jumping randomly into a relatively popular MMO/T-FPS called World of Tanks (think I mentioned it before) ...can be very aggravating, especially with my shite isp, but it has its moments. ...but yeah, nothing new has particularly got me excited or intrigued.
Steam, for instance, has been pushing Pre-Ordered / Early Access games to a relative extreme, which I've started flatly refusing to take part in - why would I guarantee my money towards a game that is still in development and not yet critically appraised? ...alternatively, several adult anime titles have gotten really popular through Steam, which is kinda scary imho. They (HuniePop, Sakura Angels, etc.) appear to be very basic and very 'story' dependent...with lots and lots of ****** (supposedly - not like I'd buy them, but they claim nudity). It brings up an interesting point though, as most anything with nudity in it would get the ESRB (US game ratings) AO (Adults only - 18+) rating, which would prevent them from being sold in stores and Steam has a policy against such games ...but these games aren't american made, and aren't rated by the ESRB as physical copies haven't been marketed...so they're allowed on Steam. Very strange...
Still haven't played DA2, and thus haven't even bought Inquisition... ![]()
@Beocat; I guess you would vouch for watching Walking Dead the TV show...? Still haven't watched it, so I honestly couldn't care less about the games I've seen thus far related to it... ![]()

I found the TV show compelling for a few episodes, but it soon turned into a soap opera with zombies. I hear that the games are very highly acclaimed, though.

... I was also just thinking, probably my favourite post-apocalyptic programme is Survivors: but the typically low-budget 1970s original is by far the superior one, even though the recent remake has Sera in it. Which was my only reason for mentioning it, really. ![]()
Edit: nearly forgot that Chakwas was the lead character in the original series.

The game is well worth playing, even if you aren't in love with the TV series. It's based off of choice and only intersects briefly with the TV series characters. It has a great story of its own.

Destiny.....far too much Destiny. Started FFXIII Lightning Returns but came down with a cold and haven't gone back since then. That was a couple weeks ago, its pretty good though. They did some cool features in it.
I'm making a mod for Fallout 3 for class no less heh. We had to pick a tool and make a multiplayer map/level but my instructor was open to other things and he let me go with FO3. Enjoying it, making a horror Raider themed small mod. Took the house beside the Raid House by the Bethesda Ruins and am basing everything there.

Cool, I had a lot of fun modding FO3.
Your house needs nicer neighbours, though. ![]()
