You jump to so many conlusions here that I'm hesitant to respond.
- Bioware failed to test the patch before deploying it - You have zero proof of this and are just speculating.
- very little attention was given to correct the issue (by her own admission). - Again another example of taking Amelia's quote deliberately out of context. You have no clue how many people worked on these issues, only that one of the dev's worked over the holiday in an effort to fix them.
- patch 3, even less effort was provided - Pure assumption and speculation yet again.
- told us what to expect and they utterly failed to deliver - This is at least rooted in some fact. BioWare released patch notes that, among many things, stated "Fixed case that could cause keys to not drop in multiplayer mode." Unfortunately what BioWare was trying to communicate was, (per BWEAMelia) " We fixed one major case causing the keydrop bug, we didn't solve the whole issue as we didn't have time to get that into this patch." It's an unfortunate example of how vagueness, lack of specificity, and choice of wording on something data oriented like patch notes can be problematic. "Utterly failed to deliver" is an overgeneralization though. Plenty of things in that patch are working.
1) Take the alternate map added in the latest patch as the perfect example of how little testing was done as no one in the community has found the map, yet the patch notes claim that it was included. Even if this was just a clerical error, it is still significant if the multiplayer team is reporting fixes that were not confirmed to be included within the patch (and yes, this requires testing to confirm). Regardless of what you think I assumed, the patch was not properly tested if content that was reported as being included is actually missing.
2) Amelia stated that only one emploiyee worked over the holidays to try and resolve the issue. I'm not sure how this is taking anything out of context.
3) Patch 3 has far more issues than Patch 2 did. While more work could have certainly gone into Patch 3, the end result is very few fixes and a key gitch that Bioware originally confirmed as being fixed. I agree that saying less effort was not the best way to phrase it but the result is even less fixes than patch 2.
4) I'm fairly certain that more than 50% of the items listed as being fixed in the patch notes are still not working. To me, and this is my opinion, that is an utter failure. You are welcome to disagree and state your own opinion but I would be fired if I submitted a fix where less than half of the issues I worked on actually worked, especially if I submitted documentation claiming they were fixed.
