Dragons are supposed to be rare in Thedas. Can't have thousands of them popping up.

I'm thinking about something like necromancy or something really evil that respawns dragon ghost like creatures. Something related to the rifts. Even though the dragons are rare in Thedas, that doesn't mean their souls or their spirit forms could linger around the Fade and rifts would just keep summoning them... or necromancers would just summon them anyways. But yeah, I would love to face other dragons and get more materials.

Oooh... or something like the Queen of the Marsh in Awakening. THAT was a good fight.

No I want to play dragon age with dragons. The game has 11 of them. 11 in a world where dragons are almost extinct. That is quite a lot of dragons.

You could save the game before each dragon, then replay the battle.

Pointless if you can't farm Dragon loots and materials like you want. Personally, I want to stack as much scales, blood and tooth as I can.

Why? Dragons are the among the most powerful enemies in the game. If you're farming them for loot, who are you going to use that loot on?

Doesn't mean that after you kill them, they should be gone forever. They thought they were extinct before, but they're back in DA: I
Yes, but if we get 1 million dragons popping up in just 2 of the countries in Thedas, it would look dumb as hell, wouldn't it?
And yes. Dragons are just starting to come back. But not that quickly. They take 12 year or something just to mature.

My characters? I like making crafts and I like using a lot of different characters and builds. The inventory system sucking as it currently does, I like giving the characters the strongest stuff as soon as possible and selling the rest so I can get enough space in my bag. Also, I like having most of my characters with the same colors. It gives them a sense of unity, as they are part of the Inquisition... well, MY Inquisition. Dunno about others, it's just a personal preference of mine.

Just like I said about the DLC, with the dragon that can grow dragonlings in a couple of days.
Yeah. Lets have a DLC that just destroys all the Lore about dragons, so someone can go "peow peow" on thousands of dragons.

My dear forumite, the lore already has been destroyed so many times in the franchise. We peasants call it a retcon...

Or make up new lore. You don't think they discover new things about dragons? There's a quest for a scholar who wants to learn more about dragons, because they know so little. This would add to the lore, the dragons were extinct, how did they come back? The DLC like that would be the answer, it was the very 1st dragon, the Legendary.
That is how you ruin the integrity of a Fantasy Setting. Making ill-concieved explanations just for the sake of "kewl".
No I don' think they wil discover new things about the dragons, because dragons were studied plenty before they got hunted down and almost extinct. Just have a look at the codex entries in the game and look at all the info there is about them.

They don't even know their hunting patterns
I think there's waaaaay more they need to find out. Adding that to the lore actually makes it make a lot more sense. Because the dragons were hunted to extinction, which means they're gone. There's no way to get them back, or there would be dinosaurs coming back to life IRL. The DLC would only patch one HUGE hole in the lore.
They didn't know the hunting pattern for that particular dragon, yes.
Dragons wern't hunted to extinction. Have you even paid attention while playing? People BELIEVED dragons were extinct. But that was wrong. Now they are back, and they are slowly becoming more numerous. The game spoonfeeds you this information. Stop skipping vital information, and you might know what is actually going on in the game you are playing.

No, it was for all dragons, pay attention "the game spoon feeds you this information". And them BELIEVEING they're all extinct doesn't mean that they're are some left. Maybe they all literally went extinct. So what they believe is true.
DA:O and DA2, and DA:I shows us there are dragons about.....that should be one big hint for you that they aren't extinct. Are you drunk?
