But you're wanting to bring back dragons... To kill them again for lore reasons? It doesn't really make sense to me.

What they could do instead is introduce an I between creature, like drakes or something else as a t4, and move dragons to an even higher tier.

And if there's another DA game it'll have dragons in it too, which happened to go extinct in inquisition too.

Yes, the next game will have dragons. Because dragon's aren't extinct. They are slowly coming back.

And they can't go extinct during inquisition. If you haven't noticed, the game only takes place in a small part of the actual world....so yeah. Kill all cows in Spain and France, and there still might be some left in Brazil or Japan (that was a metaphor).

@eyesonlyii, no I don't, but someone brought up the lore of the dragons. I want them to bring dragons back for the crafting materials, the really good loot, and the very very fun fights.
@Rawgrim, if they were all hunted(including dragonlings) how would they make their comeback. And just because it only takes place in two countries, doesn't mean they aren't hunted around the world. Dragons don't tend to leave where they nest, so it's unlikely a dragon would relocate to another place in the world.

No I want to play dragon age with dragons. The game has 11 of them. 11 in a world where dragons are almost extinct. That is quite a lot of dragons.

"Almost No Dragons Age" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Well here is a logical thought. "They didn't manage to kill all of them".  They hunted them, certainly. But they didn't manage to kill all of them. Want evidence for that? Look at three games. See the dragons? There you go. Want to know more? Read the codex in the game.

The entire world of Thedas isn't populated either. So there are plenty of places for a dragon to survive for a long period of time. You might also want to look into The Cult of the Dragon. A cult that worships dragons and keeps them safe. Those are kind of important.

Well dragons are slowly returning. That doesn't mean 50 million of them instantly. Swarm Age sounds better?

Okay ******. You think they'd just give up the hunt because they "think they got them all"? Hell no. They'd keep going until they know it's done. And you know what, if you want to go off dragon lore? Why can the dragons be killed at all? Dragons scales are impenetrable, they breathe FIRE, not ice or lightning, they hoard gold(they carry none), they don't live in a cave, they for some reason land to fight you(when flying overhead and lighting everything on fire would be a lot easier. So if you're gonna hate on the suggestion because it messes up the lore, how about you bring up actual dragon lore? Or stay out of this suggestion you butt plug.

I didn't say the gave up. I say they stopped because they thought the job was done. Fairly obvious.

Dragon scales aren't impenetrable, no. where did you get that idea? Different scales on the belly of the dragon than along its back too.

Different dragons breathe different things. You might notice that the ones that breathe fire are a different kind of dragon (they even have different names).

Dragons in Thedas don't hoard gold, no. Just because Smaug liked gold doesn't mean the ones in Thedas do. Different worlds.

They do live in caves. Underground too. Some live outside too. You find dragon eggs inside a cave in DA:O. You also find baby dragons in caves.

Yes. Dragons land sometimes. So what? They are animals. Did you expect animals to lay out some clever tactics? They fly about and attack you with fire. When that doesn't work, they land near you to kill you. That bi isn't even lore. Do you know what Lore is?

I have told you plenty of actual dragon lore already. So...I did bring it up?

Do you mean "stay out of this discussion?" A suggestion is something different. I am unsure of what you mean.

The term is "butt-plug". Otherwise you have two separate words that aren't connected.

Doesn't matter. Dragons are different in every different story\Fantasy world.

The only one what matters here is the dragon lore in Thedas. What Tolkien did with dragons, or Dungeons and Dragons, is irrelevant.

Not just what they did. Actual dragon lore. What they're based off of. Not what jr Tolkien did. Dragon lore has been around for centuries.

Killing Dragons is fun??? On Nightmare (Without Vivienne), I feel like it's the definition of hell.

Well yes, but that still doesn't matter. The dragons in Thedas aren't the same as the ones in Asian mythology for example, Different cultures have their own take on dragons.

Also it isn't lore if they never existed. That puts them under myths and legends. Not actual lore. Since they exist in Thedas, they fall under Lore in that word. I think that is how it works, anyway.

Nope. Not in all cultures.

And so what? Whatever "lore" we have about dragons in our world has zero to do with the dragons in Thedas. Thedas is on a different planet, in case you hadn't noticed.

Lore isn't real stuff Fockboy. There's lore for unicorns and centaurs. They're. Fake. Lore is the history and background and habits and appearance, etc. of an certain thing. And yes it's still fun on nightmare. Just challenging.

Lore is "real stuff", yes. Never heard of herb-lore? It is an actual real world skill. People get educations in that area. Are you saying those people and those schools don't exist?

You're retarted. Lore is everything the creature is about. Be it a unicorn, angel, demon, Minotaur, centaur, DRAGON, etc. not a "school"

Real dragon lore? Ehm. Okay.

Western or Eastern Dragon? Water dragons?

Are we talking folklore, myths and fairy tales here? Or stuff from the bible? What about fantasy novels? I'm sure there's quite a bit about dragons in the DnD novels. :P

And all that is absolutely irrelevant for Dragon Age, since that's set in Thedas and has nothing whatsoever to do with any of the above.

Actually it is spelled "retarded". Nice one. You just confirmed a bunch of theories about your person.

Lore isn't only about creatures. I asked you if you had heard about herb lore. You said lore can never be about real things. etc. We have herb lore in our world, and plenty other kinds of lore. So I am going to ask you again. How is this possible? Since, according to you, this just can't happen.

Yes it has. Because they are growing in numbers. 15 years since DA:O now? The one in the Frostback mountains in that game was pretty much the first sighting in ages. Now, some years later, there are more of them. And they are maturing.
