Bioware! The hair! The hair is so bad it HURTS! You probably spent 3 years to make sure the tail on the horse flowed just right when it walks, but you give us that terrible hair for our characters!? I can wait for mods, I can wait for console commands, I can even wait for expansions, but please....PLEASE!!! release some decent Hair DLC or allow for modding. It is so awful having such a beautiful character in a beautiful world with such ugly hair.
It hurts

I am kinda curious about that. My clothing and armor (well, the leather and cloth bits), the trees, plants and grass... all of them bend and sway with the wind. It looks awesome.
I freely admit i may have frapsed a few scenes in "windy" areas with my cloak and the trees visible.
And then.... the hair is there. Static. Unmoving. Unchanging. Stoic in an uncaring world. Determined to make a goatee look like someone smacked me in the face with a guinea pig and glued it there.
It's odd. It's another strange case of the game being at odds with itself. If the goal is to get the player engaged with their Inquisitor and customization of same, why spend more time on the trees and less on the character? And if we're using weird static-mesh wigs for hair, why do hats have to look awful and remove it..?
Side note: look at Cole next chance you get. See how he has his hair showing under his hat? It's a trick. That hat is only wearable by Cole. I bet you eleventy billion dollars that the fringe of blonde hair you see around the rim of Cole's hat is actually part of the hat mesh.

Hey. This is serious business. You don't mess with the hair.
I feel very violent when I have to make a new character and my hair looks like a semi realistic yet very doll like hairstyle! It's so oily it hurts and lifeless!!

Don't give a sh*t about the hair when the game is badly broken in most other ways.

I don't even care about the hair not being dynamic, I just wish it didn't have the modeling/texturing of a game made in 2004, had hairstyles that made sense and looked good, and had as many choices as previous games (and no, 20 shaved/bald variants don't count)

Honestly, I can't think of one hairstyle I actually liked in any of the games. There was this one style in DA2 with bangs (fringe) that was completely hideous there was no way I would ever choose it. Looked like it was straight out of the 70s. Da:I is no better with the bajillion buzz cuts and receding hair lines. Ugh.
I really hope mods take off soon. Or Bioware makes much more pleasant hairstyles. I know they can do it. Josephine and Morrigan are proof.

On that tangent, not that it's as big a deal as some of the other issues, but those 'hair caps' on the hats are really irksome to me. As a dark haired character, finding hats is just so useless, they turn me blonde/white haired. Looks really strange. Once I can craft a hat, I can kind of sort of finagle a way to make the cap black with mats, but then I have to resign myself to building an entire outfit off of that color scheme. A nitpick I guess, but man I loved those Inquisitor floppy and Orlesian hats. Alas, not meant to be for us dark hairs ![]()

I wouldn't even mind that the hair wont move, as long as the hairstyles themselves would look better and there would be more of them. Also, they really should've given better hairstyles for elves because there is so much bad clipping going on. Everytime I make an elf, I always lift the ears up closer to the line of the eyes aka spock/Legolas, instead leaving them halfway down to the jawline (which just looks so wrong to me). And, of course, that makes the clipping even worse. Only way around that would be a bald elf and I hate those bald styles.

Qunari hair is still only hair I have problem with. I think the hair is fine for other races but qunaris lack options and the few that they have have designing flaws, though there is some designing flaws in others races hair as well.
