I've been wondering because I haven't tried engineer on ME3 yet, do the Combat/Defense Drone & Sentry turret get any benefit from +power bonuses or only duration?

I am 90% sure they do.

Combat Drone, Defense Drone, Decoy, and Sentry Turret benefit from power damage bonuses from class passives, armor, intel, and Pistol/SMG power damage mods.

 

Only Combat Drone and Sentry Turret benefit from the Drone Mastery evolution in the Engineer's Tech Mastery tree.

Cool thanks for the response I wanted to give them a try instead of the usual "power spamming" that I do when playing a power oriented class like sentinel or adept.

Yes, they do, but they're pretty much better for distractions. Bonuses applied to them are simply too small to make too much of a difference.

I am a Adapt most of the time, and I usually have my Defense Drone. It can get a longer duration if you upgrade it enough. I have never played the Engineer class, but from what I have learned, there are different versions of a Combat Drone.
