Well I use to get party banter every hour and a half or so...I just had a 6 hour play session of complete silence since the patch. I feel like just giving up,because with all the side quests I do the world feels completely dead now.
I'm getting to a point where I am no longer going to buy these games until they are on sale and all the **** that should be fine in the first place are patched in later (or probably not fixed at all)
Wouldn't it be funny if bioware made a mistake in the patch, so that instead of party banters firing more frequently, it actually reduced the chance of getting a party banter going even more. Hmmmmm,............ food for thought?

I'm assuming TC's a normal human being who hasn't exhausted 3000 hours into this game. In that case, if banter only fired every hour like he said, then there's no way they'd be used up.
Just accept it. Bioware fudged it up. As always.
The game is unplayable without the banter for me.... And to think that they recorded like how many hours of it ? Really ?
The frostbite engine is a piece of ***** end of the story. It was one of the biggest mistakes they could have made since it was troublesome in the past.

Normally, I couldn't give two tosses about the banter.
However, in this game, the banter is necessary as it is entertaining and takes the edge off of boring and tedious fetch questing.
It's like when you travel somewhere in a car/train/plane for hours, and you need some entertainment to keep you sane so you don't die from boredom.
So far no problems except the wrong pointers for armor sounds, or Cassandra's clanking plates are just overpowering everything else. Have to isolate my character to reevaluate the actual cause. B4 this update I would often get rapid repetition banter at random -a restart would clear it up. I have not seen this behavior so far but I start new after an update. I suspect some of the master crafting errors reported were introduced by their saved game.
The patch made no difference to my banter...on PC and I have silence for the most part. It is very frustrating as I read many posts that discuss how funny different convos are. I want to have that!!
This has become an expected part of the game, pls reevaluate your fix.
Never had any banter issues on Xbox One, though. Seems to be mostly a PC bug. Only run into 3 bugs so far. 2 of them game breaking. I think one of them got fixed in the previous patch.

Ok, I thought Bioware's storytellers weren't in the mix with Iron Bull and Sera, but apparently there is a lot of banter I missed. I am getting about one or two lines between Dorian, Iron Bull, Vivienne, Sera, Blackwall and Cole. I get a lot of dialogue with Cassandra, Solas and Varric. There is a banter bug because my stubborn second playthrough is not triggering conversations between Varric, Cassandra and Solas now. I am in the Hinterlands, on the second playthrough, and all three are a lot more quiet this time around. My version is 1.0.0.4.

Iv played with the same 4 members since the start so to start off the new patch i played with 2 new characters and kept sera....6 hours of silence..

I started a PT recently, have gone to Val Royeax and recruited Viv/Sera... come back to the Hinterlands to do all of those help the little people quests... I haven't had one banter since the beginning of the game.
Man, I shouldn't have laughed about this yesterday... that's karma for you. 
I found a fix for this... in youtube there is a video with 5 hours of party banter (I guess thats all of it), download the .mp3 of this video and let it playing while playing Inquisition, if you going to do a mission in which you have dialogue you stop it, just play it while you're doing boring stuff.
But even that became boring eventually so now I just play Inquisition watching movies and series, I just forget the game even exists and it is alright, I guess this way I can even do lots of playthroughs. One of these days I watched 3 episodes of Glee, 2 of Banshee, 1 of Flash, 1 of Criminal Minds and 1 of the Originals while playing Inquisition, then Dracula Untold and 47 ronin. 47 ronin is so bad it gave me doubt if I watched the movie or realized the hard truth that I was playing Inquisition, I still prefered to see the colorful fantasy animals of the movie than that of DAI, but is was a hard choice... it is kind of like Inquisition, beautiful effects and no content, gotta watch better movies while I play Inquisition...

Glee used to be so good in the three first seasons. Thanks God that abomination is ending this year.
Not getting any banter here either, and it's really taking the life out of the game. Now I'm wondering if they are even there outside of the short one or two lines being spoken by the party members.

Only thing that made me come back this season is the fact Klaine finally split up. I hate them together, they ruined the show for me. Too much fan pandering.

Ugh, another show I gave up way before the end of season 1. xD
Yeah, I've come to listening to various Let's Plays and what-not on the side while playing Inquisition. The Xbox 360 has even less banter, it seems, than PC or the modern consoles. It's nice to have some talking on the side.
I'm starting to run out of Ramza411sb's videos though... and I've watched almost everything from the Achievement Hunters at least three times...
