Halo 4: It just isn't a good game. I just didn't like it, I beat it in a night, I was bored the whole time. They fucked and changed the lore and that annoyed Me a lot. I did like the subplot with Chief and Cortana. That was well done, but that was it. It's not "terrible", but it's not good either...it's just mediocre as ****.
And it was also the final nail in the coffin with Me and Xbox. I had an Xbox since the first one and was the only console I had(mainly because I couldn't afford both and, while I was never anything close to a "fanboy", I prefered it) but Microsoft's bullshit and greed with the 360 was already pushing Me back into PC gaming, the Xbone reveal made it worse, and Halo was really the last and only thing keeping Me in their customer base, and if it had been good, it might have been enough to compel Me to get the Xbone. But it wasn't.
But I'm in the minority on this apparently, as it got near universal acclaim and everyone seems to love it.
Fallout 3: It's o'kay. It's not terrible, but it's not good either. It's just so...hollow. That's the only word I can think of. The NPC have no personality and are so forgettable minus one or two. One of them being a ****** dog.
The main plot is so boring and predictable. The world feel so empty and hollow. I tried so hard to like it and do have fun playing...when I mod the **** out of it and make up My own story.
Bethesda is king at making epic games that are completely and utterly underwhelming and hollow in the end. And there is just so much stupid **** that makes no sense. So many problems in the wasteland could be solved it the people used their ****** heads. On the west coast people have largely rebuilt and there are the materials needed to begin again are RIGHT ****** THERE, JUST USE YOUR ****** HEADS. Yes there are problems there in the CW which makes things a little harder but they should have figured out most of this **** by now. Fallout is a post-post apocalyptic, it's meant to take place AFTER the post-apocalyptic period, and people have begun to rebuild. Only the first game was post-apocalyptic, Fallout 2 was not. I would be fine with Fallout 3 being post-apocalyptic in the way it is if it was in 1077 instead of 2077. And Bethesda ****** with the lore annoyed Me to no end.
I don't know why I get so worked up over Bethesda games. Maybe it's because I know they can do better. I it drives Me mad when people let fanboyism for Bethesda, over the fact that this is such a mediocre game.
There are a lot more and I've already pissed everyone off with these, so I'll stop here.
