I'm now playing through this game again as a DW Rogue on Nightmare and I've come to notice something really strange. When flanking from behind, the last hit of my auto attack combo seems to trigger Twin Fangs as a seperate entity. I've never seen this happen before and I looked through my skill tree to see if anything matched up and found nothing. As amazing as this perk would sound, I feel it's even more detrimental to me than useful because this Twin Fangs actually knocks them a far ways off, much more than if I used the skill 'Twin Fangs' which usually just makes them fall in front of my feet, and the focus is to do single target damage so I'd like to kill them as fast as possible, not CC them indefinitely.

Is this intended and what causes it to trigger? My weapon set-up is currently Dual-Blade mainhand and Dagger offhand. I think it might have something to do with this as I recently acquired the Dual-Blade.

It's just the final attack animation of the dual blade daggers, doesn't deal any additional damage.

When you begin an attack chain with dual blades behind a unit, the final attack of that animation turns into to a double thrust similar to twin fangs, which knocks units down as well as appear to do double damage.

It's important to realize that if you switch targets within the attack chain, it will still end in the twin fang like double strike and knock things down.
