I don't know which connotation of "annoyance" you're using which doesn't imply "bad." Annoyances certainly aren't positive. But are you really trying this hard to spin it? Really? The vast majority of respondents are of the opinion that the game has issues--even if you disregard 4% as being "haters."

It's clear there are issues--even if only as a matter of perception.

I don't think the 4% are haters (some may be, but to make that assumption about all or even most would be unfair),

all we know is that they think the game is currently unplayable.

As for the rest, the game should be pretty much bug free, like any game should be.

If it isn't, that's something that needs to be addressed.

Beyond that, the views expressed in recent posts seem reasonable to me, but with slightly different interpretations.

The poll was not designed to withstand semantic dissection however  :D

it was just an unscientific poll to assess BSN folk's attitude to the game's stability and bug content.

... Heck, one of the reasons I quit PC gaming in the first place is how unstable and frustrating it can be, and I never played games that would push a system tot he limit like this one would.

Pretty much why I got an XB1: 1) Switch on 2) Play [mostly].

You're correct, for sure.  I think that this comes from the fact that the game was designed for the newest consoles in mind, and the older ones were more of a throw in.  If the game runs well and is well thought of on the current machines, players will be more likely to continue with the series into the future, IMO.

As to the PC, I'm unable to really put myself into their shoes, but from what I read around here (and the very fact that 75% of poll respondents are PC gamers vs about 20% of total games sold), I think that those folks just tend to be more demanding and have a higher and/or different set of expectations than console gamers do.  It also seems that there are simply more things that can go wrong playing a game on a PC, and I base that in part on my older experiences playing PC games in the past.  Heck, one of the reasons I quit PC gaming in the first place is how unstable and frustrating it can be, and I never played games that would push a system tot he limit like this one would.

I'm suprised that even if PC problems are most complained about the overall results stated that majority of PC players don't have problems.

And then old gen consoles have quite alot problems but yep I knew that already ^^; Too bad Bioware isn't even intrested in fixing those although they have been fixing a lot PC problems (in not very good success though).

I think it's simply a case of perception. I find clipping, excessive hair shine, having to reload occasionally, NPCs not being where they are supposed to be, etc.. minor and sometimes annoying glitches. My granddaughter found the same things unplayable. For a perfectionist, especially one that knows noting of computers, programming and how it works, any slight glitch is angering and, two to four of them mean it's unplayable for them.

1/4 people have a moderate to unplayable levels of bugs in this game?

That's.... a lot. Goddamn. I was expecting around 10%.

The actual definition. It isn't spin to say that annoyance doesn't mean bad in the way that you're using it - as in active obstacles to enjoyment, or otherwise sufficiently impeding gameplay to taint the experience.

I'm not the one spinning anything - you are by suggesting that the term bears a meaning it couldn't possibly bear in the context.

To be precise, that number of the 400 BSN folk who voted had that level.

Translating that to the wider populations does have some ambiguity...

Despite the overall good performance for the people who partook, 25% of people who can't play or have to force themselves through the agony are not something lightly to ignore. Like the title suggest, this is unscientific for the way it was setup, but it's still an indicator, something EA should not ignore.

(spoiler: They probably will though)
