OMG! Tavern songs are going to be released in album!

He was the composer for some of the soundtracks so they credit him, I guess.
Listen to the music in some of those tavern songs. It's his composition.
I'm so excited for this! I'm a little surprised they didn't just throw the French versions in there too, but I'm so happy they're doing it at all.
Yes! So totally buying this. Not ashamed to admit I love most of the tavern songs, Samson's one even made me feel a minute amount of sympathy for the stupid git. Also, someone should make a folk metal band called Dragon's Crooked Spine.
Definitely one of the best parts of the game was just going into the tavern to listen to these songs. Incredibly happy they're making this available for us!
This is good news! It's amazing how something so small within the game could have such an impact on me. It was a bit of an emotional moment for me after I finished the Warden quest and came back to the tavern to hear, "Oh, Grey Wardens....what have you done...?"
The Bard songs actually connect me to the game more than the soundtrack. Although, to be fair, my first PT of 150 hours I had no soundtrack music. lol! None. Not even just a few seconds. So, the Bard songs were all I had.
Happy happy happy joy joy joy.

I love the songs. It's kinda weird though. I was singing along to "Sera Was Never" and suddenly realized that I sound exactly like the singer. ![]()
Eeeeeeeeeeeeh! So happy! ![]()
So where are the other half of the songs?
Really glad that they're doing this. I didn't want to have to convert the YouTube vids to mp3's. Disappointed about there being no French versions, but that's fine I guess..
More "Sera was never"! \o/
does it include both english and french songs ?
Awwww. There are only 10 on there. I really liked the tavern songs. They should release everything.
Awesome, I hope the french versions are included!!
Sadly it looks like it isn't including the French versions. A shame really, because a couple of them sound better in French.
The one about Leliana for example...
Also, Samson's Tale...
EA executives are on the floor laughing with their dicks so hard they are almost poking their eyes out at everybody who is throwing more money at them after having already paid for the 'soundtrack' to pay again to get the rest of what they already paid for. "Why give somebody what they paid for if they'll gladly pay twice for it?"

So, where did the bad game hurt you?
No one is paying twice for anything. It's a separate album. Movies have the exact same model, often separating the tracks made by various artists and the score composer.
