This is really cool! I hope I'll get to buy these. Usually buying music online is very hit and miss if you don't live in a large country since your payment is denied due to your street address and the like.

Ok either read what he said again, or just take a look at iTunes. The main score of a movie or game is almost always separated from the lyrical soundtrack. Nothing new here.

Yup. He wrote the music, but in Origins they were either just random warbling or in Elvish.
They gave both the main theme from Origins and Iam the One (end credits) English lyrics for Inquisition.

It's not uncommon practice, though. Did you see how many separate listings they broke the Mass Effect soundtracks up into? That got silly.

DA's soundtrack isn't 'background elevator music'.. It's an incredible score.
Also as others noted earlier, lyrical music is always sold separately.
I actually prefer all the songs without the bard singing. Just let me sit and listen to that gentle guitar. After beating coryphy-sh*t I like to just stand in Skyhold and listen to "Once we Were" as it plays over and over and over and over. "Empress of Fire" is another favorite.

If you buy a movie soundtrack, are you actually expecting it to contain every song you might hear on a car radio when people are driving, or out of a jukebox in the background in a bar, or hummed by someone passing you on the street? I got a great soundtrack with my digital deluxe edition. These tavern songs... really, I cannot fathom how you can possibly think those types of tunes should have been included.
But hey, I'm being paid by EA to support them in the forums, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

One of the best thing from FF series is full soundtracks. I'm stilll hoping big that western games also get such kind of treatment.
i loved the French bard. Finally canonical confirmation that Orlesians speak full French rather than just having a Frenchish version of English complete with a comical accent.I love the instrumentals too. The soundtrack would be 3 times larger if I got my way (the French would be there too).
