DA's soundtrack isn't 'background elevator music'.. It's an incredible score.

Also as others noted earlier, lyrical music is always sold separately.

I think DA:I had by far the best soundtrack in the series.

I think the problem though is that you don't hear it very often. A decision was made to have the experience in the wilderness maps largely be a silent one, so that you hear the sound effects of birds and such rather than music. I can understand why they made that decision...but ultimately I think it was a bad one. I'd rather have the soundtrack play more often.

I love the songs. It's kinda weird though. I was singing along to "Sera Was Never" and suddenly realized that I sound exactly like the singer.

You should do a cover!!!!

I am in complete agreement with you. :) Mostly because I still hear all those ambient sounds, and I just love music in my life as much as possible, I suppose.

Also my favourites include Sera (was never), I am the One, and Samson, oddly.

Calpernia is a weaker villain than Samson, but Samson's Tale is one of the better tavern songs.

Grampy-bone be pleased right now.

I second this. 30 seconds of soundtrack every like 5-10 minutes was really bad.

That can actually be a rather poignant thing, if it's done right. The best example I can think of is "The Body", from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, where there is no music for the entire episode.

The first time I watched it, I never even noticed there was no music.

Why so long to release I wonder? Don't they have the recordings already? Are they perhaps re-recording?

...  For some reason, the first thing that popped into my mind was, "Canadian company wants Canadian singer.  CELINE DION!"
