No, you people need to realize that alpha footage is not the final product. Everything in alpha is subject to change.

Then why did the devs still claim the stuff in the Alpha videos were still in the game, 2 days before release? People asked them about how they could modify their keeps etc just days before the game hit the stores. Do you believe the devs rushed around the world and edited every damn game they had shipped out in 2 days?

the railer was nowhere like the game.

What trailer? The "this is the new ****" one? Or the sacred ashes one? The Sacred Ashes one was specified as just a cinematic trailer, and the devs were clear about anything in it was not like how the game would look.

Which of them are you getting at?

Source please and indication that they weren't talking about YOUR keep (aka Skyhold).

The source is right here on the forums. Just look around if you will. Check the threads that popped up the week before release. It was in the Scuttlebut forum.

And yes. They were talking about the keeps we could capture during the game, and how we could modify them and have them serve different purposes. Military purposes, trading, and "spy networking", I think the last option was.

Skyhold is not a keep. Skyhold is a castle.

How much are you being paid to defend every lie and poor desicion Bioware makes?

Plenty people saw it. Just look around in the threads and you will find plenty comments about it.

No. I am not going to spend time looking for a thread from November. You will blindly defend it no matter what is says.

Absolutely not. If it is true it's an horrendous piece of.. I dunno, just a million times awful.

But right now I'm only looking at hearsay. Hearsay from someone who bashes Bioware with every stroke on his keyboard. Not very convincing.

Well the Dev answered a question I asked about the Keeps we could capture. 2-3 days after the game hit the stores. That is why I remembered it. Several others were asking stuff in the same thread too. I believe it was in one of the treads about

You might want to look at how many times I have praised Bioware for the superb exploration factor in this game, then. And the excellent Companions in the game.

So what you are saying is everyone who "bash Bioware" in any way, has to be a liar. Nice fanboy logic you have there.

If the stuff's so easy to find, why didn't you cram it down Psychevore's throat? (I don't got a dog in this fight; I didn't read those threads because I hadn't watched those videos.)

If he wants proof, he should look at it himself. I told him where to find it.

No, if you make a claim it's up to you to back it up with evidence.

Nope. Told him where to find it. Told him he could just look at new threads around here too. Several people are remembering the same thing, and quoting it.

Even with proof, he will defend it. Not worth the time doing the work for him.

Telling him where to find it doesn't actually mean it's indeed there to find it. That's just another claim without any proof.

So you know, such empty claims are pretty easy to ignore until you can show there's more to them than that. It's your homework to do if you want anyone to take what you say seriously.

It's entirely your own fault if you take leaked information that should never have reached the public for truth.

No. There are videos on Youtube from different events where they showcased this type of gameplay (defending the Keep or the village, burning down templars boats so they won't escape, etc.). In one of the videos you can hear hundreds of fans cheering for these things while they were talking about them. At any time they said "hey guys, don't get too excited because there's a chance this won't be in the game". The purpose of those events is for them to show their game and they chose those particular things to talk about in front of hundreds of people so how aren't we supposed to believe we're going to get it in the final version?

And once again people comparing a few missing cutscenes from a trailer to a 30 minute video that shows a whole quest, strategies and gameplay mechanics that is nowhere to be seen in the actual game. Sigh...

Oh and then there's that wonderful video where they say how this game is made for PC players and how it's so great on PC.

I was going to ask the same thing and 2 things came to my head:

I hope he is being paid and is not that he is this pathetic without a reason, on the other hand i hope they are not paying him because he is doing a poor job.

When your companions make coments about the battle or the enemies ahead etc its epic, thats not in the game xD .... when Cassandra smashes the door of the keep-------------->Not in the game xD ..... the meteor storm of Viviene.... looks like we got the crappy version of it =/

Where can I download the Pre-Alpha build version of the game? It looks hell of a lot better than the version I've purchased.

This happens a lot.

The Alpha build of Resident Evil 4 was nothing like the final game.

Devil May Cry wasn't even Devil May Cry in it's Alpha stage.

Yeah, I kept wondering when we'd see that scene with Varric finding corpses at a keep. Never happened.

In fact, there were barely any "scenes" at all. That was an emotional moment that DAI is woefully in need of so I'm not sure why it got cut. The main emotional tone for the game seems to be:

Sky Rips Open......Dry Humor.........Let's Sing In The Snow!.........Dry Humor.......OMG it's a boss fight.....Meh....Dry Humor

Oh man... I hope they won't screw up the new Mass Effect game. I don't mind if I have to wait another 2 years for the game as long as they give us a good game, what they promise at E3's and stuff like that. Don't get me wrong, I like Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I hate it at the same time. I hope I'm making sense, not like Sera :)

all biowares game have bugs always will or you mean the cliffhanger?

I also don't understand why they would cut that out. It's almost like they tried to avoid anything dark or touching.

My opinion is they showed us a game first, where it was almost epic, and then delivered us a totaly different game.

How much of the content did they promise come out to be in the final game, and how many bugs still persist from day 1 of launch?

You'd be right to be angry. We were lied to and no one gives a damn about it at EA or BW. There's a difference between promising the world and promising just short of it (only eliminating some things) versus what has been eliminated actually from the game (which is quite a lot), and again, compare that with how many bugs there are for both SP and MP.

Why people are trying to defend BW for this, I cannot quite understand aside from possible trolls trying to get their jollies off by watching mad happen on the forum.
