Just went to NVidia website and downloaded them.

Clean installed and all video setting in NVidia Control Panel for best image quality.

But now I can't run the game due to origin server being down? Only offline mode?

I hope this is fixed soon so I can see how DAI runs with these latest drivers.

?
You can play the game when Origin is offline.
That is a fact. I played it like that this morning.

I just ran DAI with these drivers and my loading and saving is much faster now.

I also noticed the game is smoother as well.

No crashes yet.

No crashes yet.

Speaking of which. I had a DX error crash yesterday night, but it was in MP. Now, many things happen in MP, but I can't recall this one among them (not with me, at least). I'll need to play more to see if it has anything to do with a driver update.

I'm on a 970 and didn't notice any difference at all sadly.

I just tried with 2x980s in SLI and the white fog still looks like it is multiplying the opacity to the point that you can't see past it.  I was really hoping that these drivers would have fixed the issue.

Doesn't anyone at BioWare play their own games on a high end PC with SLI?  You would think they would want to play the best version of the game...at least the artists would want to see the models at the highest resolution and quality.

Some people on the Nvidia boards have claimed success by reducing the vegetation to high (redux in flicker), and turning off ambient occlusion(white fog).  The white fog fix worked for me, but not the flicker.  At this point, I don't think its on Nvidia.  Bioware has to address this, IMO.  But either way both sides are acting like two insurance companies fighting over who is going to pay the claim.

Interesting... I'll try turning off ambient occlusion tonight and see if that helps with the fog.

I just tried turning off ambient occlusion and the white fog was still just as dense.  At least with the latest Nvidia drivers it is much easier to switch SLI on and off, I don't have to shut down 4 different process anymore.

It's just frustrating to know that one expensive GPU is sitting idle.

I have no issues with the 347.25 drivers and a 980. This is after several hours of gaming in DA:I. I don't notice any difference over 347.09 beta drivers.

as to the reports Nvidia abandoned inquisition because its an amd game. I don't believe that to be the case.  First off amd is having the same issues, and given the fact that its a game of the year" which doesn't mean much anymore" it would be top priority to fix. Inquisition  it is probably the best game ive played in years.  That being said the game is broken, there are many bugs and Im sure Nvidia is working on a fix.  I mean could you imagine the backlash they would get if amd fixed the problem and Nvidia stood by watching, if anything it would motivate Nvidia to fix it faster to entice bioware/EA to go Nvidia on the next big project.  In any case this is another perfect example of a broken port.  We will see the game 100% probably around q4 2015 or q1 2016.

as to the new drivers Im running titan blacks 3 way sli evga signatures.  If its worth anything I have noticed a minor difference in game with less flickering, but I have also had some strange fps drops in certain spots around rifts which did not occur before.  Sli is still not what it could be, it has made leaps in the last year or so, but I think we will start seeing major improvements in the coming 2 years.  Nvdia has a lot on the table, trying to get G-sync working optimally and various other projects to improve quality/performance all around.  One plus is that my titans will be dx12 compatible as well as other 6 and 7 series cards.  Plus windows 10 from my view and experience is headed in the right direction, so Im very exited about the upcoming year.  Additionally intel is working on some intrtesting things with their m processors, we will see silicon phased out within the next 5 years and new tech taking its place.  Like IU said interesting stuff.

I don't believe it's the case, to me it looks like SLI is a sinking ship. Why would I want to fully upgrade for the new top high-end, when I can spend much less on a mid-class same-type older card and get a noticeable performance boost?  Devs know that, and they don't do much to improve that 'buggy tech for the poor' image. It's been like this for years, it has always been 'yeah, you'll get your performance improvements...if you're lucky enough with both the product and the driver'.

Me myself - I'll never buy a SLI config again (unless I'm forced to by some evil circumstances).

Remember Voodoo 3dfx cards? Probably not many do, but that's what is going to happen with the SLI, imo.

The 347.25 driver gives my Nvidia GeForce GT 620 fits whenever I try to install it but given I can play all my current games without graphical issues I don't think I'll have much to worry.

Well, the new driver freezes the game for me in the opening cutscene while running on my laptop (which has a GTX 760M). That can't be good.

EDIT: Reverting to the previous driver fixed it. Good job, Nvidia.

I ran into this this morning, and did some digging around in other games that are supported by GeForce Experience, and it turned out that it did an "auto optimizing" thing and it swapped my Ambient Occlusion settings. Swapping that back to HBAO seemed to correct it, and if I were running on the latest architecture, I may not have had to mess with it at all. I'm only running a GTX 750 Ti though, so it's not quite up to snuff. I am, however, running everything on High.

Hope it does. I really had no issues with the driver updates until this morning, and I have subsequently turned that setting off in the Experience settings.

Using a 660TI and this driver update has killed the game for me.  I'd been experiencing the sound bug and decided to update.  Now the game crashes all over the place, in the start menu, upon loading a save, and if it loads I've got a few minutes or half an hour to play before my system reboots.  I've tried rolling back drivers and even using an old restore point.

Maybe this update didn't cause my issues but it had been a loooooong time since I'd had a game crash or random reboot.

I have the same GPU, but the drivers have actually improved my performance. Have you tried "repairing" Inquisition through Origin? I know it might sound silly, but it's worth a shot.

I thought it was going to work.  Got to play a couple minutes before the crash as i entered the war room in Haven.  Just for kicks i disabled my Nvidia sound devices and switched to on-board sound and manged to get into the war room, select a new mission and have it crash while loading the mission.

Not sure where to go from here.

Are you playing in Borderless Window?

No.  Full screen.  As of typing this the game won't boot at all after having messed around more.  I hopped into Geforce Experience and set the graphics to optimal and that really fouled things up.

Yeah, don't do that, unless you're running the driver's it's intended for, with all the bells and whistles. For example, my monitor is lower native res than what the optimal settings call for. Check if your Ambient Occlusion is set to other than the HBAO. I ran into some issues after the Experience did some optimizing, and swapping back to HBAO cleared it right up for me.

same for me here as well. i was hoping for improvement in performance such playing on 60 fps consistently but still get those drops every now and then. hopefully the next driver update or game patch resolves these performance issues.

I kicked my settings back to what worked originally and found the old drivers that were working in the first place. Now things are playable but my sound cuts out consistently, I hear the footsteps most of the time with some group banter thrown in.  Not much music or ambient noise.  :(

For the brief time the new drivers worked it was very nice, could hear all the sounds.
