So I guess Leliana with conscripted mages is the best ending for most.

Yep same. So huge problem just suddenly has conclusion without no downsides? That doesn't sound like Dragon Age to me ^^

I'm personally Pro-Circle, overall I think Vivienne would be best Divine in the bunch. But I also wonder why there is no Pro-Templar outcome, it sounds odd to have only Pro-Circle and Pro-Mage one's where Cass is somewhere between.

...Untill DA4 retcons it.

This. Don't forget that if you side with mages, imagine how the common people see it: The Templar Order abandons the Chantry and becomes Red Templars who murder innocent people and help a Darkspawn Magister nearly conquer Thedas while the mages work with the Herald of Andraste to close the Breach and fight Corypheus to save the world.

Plus, as mentioned before, since you are the Herald whether you like it or not, the sheeple believe that your actions are what the Maker wants. Thus, if you generally support mages, the Chantry and people would therefore assume that the Maker supports mage freedom.

...Actually Leliana herself says siding with the Mages causes anger and malcontent among the people of Thedas and Josephine mentions how much you just pissed off Redcliffe.

Side with the Templars though and people love you.

In the long run, the mages can benefit. Mages enjoy unprecedented acceptance when the College of Enchanters forms, after the crisis of the Breach is dealt with.

Side with the Templars though and people love you.

There are people unhappy with the templars in the narrative, like the woman who lost her husband to templars who killed him and stole his wedding band. The Mage-Templar War caused bad blood and resentment for both sides.

Nah, allying with the Templars and Cass as Divine was the best ending for me.

Only at the start. Once Corypheus and the Red Templars reveal themselves, then people start to accept mages.

You also pay reparations for Redcliff on behalf of the Mages, so that helps.

Because templars and nobles are the only ones who ever committed rape.

The point made....completely missed.

The point that siding with one side doesn't mean you condone all their actions? Is that really something that needs to be spelled out for anyone? Only a fool wouldn't realize that.

Especially since Chevaliers essentially legally rape whoever they want. Talk to the Orlesian merchant in Denerim in DAO.

Seriously Bioware should be disgusted with themselves.

I certainly am.

This is related how exactly to this rather repeated and pointless topic?

I never said I supported Hardened Leliana. I softened Leliana. If you are going to put words in my mouth, I can easily say Templar and Gaspard supporters have no problem with rape, abuse, or murdering people they consider inferior.

You said and I quote "Leliana either convinces her critics to see things her way or executes them. Not a problem either way."

That kinda implies that you don't have a problem with both ways.

I said that her opponents are dealt with regardless of whether or not she's hardened, thus they are not a problem for her either way. That doesn't mean that I like it, only that she won't have a problem with her opponents either way. Pay attention to my meaning next time. Guess pro-templar will use any justification to insult people. I shouldn't be surprised they devolved to this.

No need for generalization. Besides, I'm not even pro-templar.

Guess pro-mage will use any dumb generalization to insult people. I shouldn't be surprised you devolved to this.

Can Cass still become the divine if you conscript.the mages?

Your guess is wrong. Cassandra is the best Divine. Accept it or don't.

Yes, but her ending results in shadow war between mages. Leliana's version is way better.

That's my preferred ending too. Vivienne can go back to being court mage and Leliana can go back to her Warden.
