So I guess Leliana with conscripted mages is the best ending for most.

Your guess is wrong. Cassandra is the best Divine. Accept it or don't.

I don't. Leliana is the best divine and you know it. You just can't accept the truth. Leliana is the best. Accept it or don't.

Sure if you like insane unstable assassins with split personality disorders in power... It's certainly the most interesting, but far from best.

Yes, best ending for everyone tbh.

Still making stuff up I see. Not surprised. I doubt a shadow war is better than showing the best that mages can offer without conflict.

Bleh ok. Its just that i really dont like the templars and i like Cassandra's plan more. I think she's more level headed of the 3.

Leliana knows both politics and compassion. Vivienne is mainly about getting power to herself while Cass is woefully inadequate for politics and will definetely need help as she hasn't even been crown and already she's miserable. Can't condemn Cass to that.

Do note that conscripting mages makes it way more likely for Vivienne to be Divine.

Thankfully tastes differ so there's no 'best' ending - there's simply endings that individuals prefer to the others.

Just as an aside, your posts make you sound like some sort of deranged cultist at times! ;)

Best ending IMO is Cass+Allied Templars+Cullen Free of Lyrium+Seekers restored. Of course with See Barris as Knight Commander (and hopefully leader of the resurgent seekers).

Ah the ignore button, my best friend.

I imagine many people have you + ignore button as their OTP. :P

Read some pro-templar posts, like in my sig. I've seen pro-templars be the biggest group of oppressive lunatics I've ever seen. I once saw a post of a pro-templar who got Leliana as Divine and he said he absolutely hated it and he would have killed himself to ensure that mages would never be free at all costs. I lol'd.

Man, I wonder what would happen if the templars wound up rebelling against a mage Inquisitor. What would pro-templars say? The Silver Shield ending clearly shows mage-haters are still prevalent. And yes, that ending occurs even if Barris is Knight-Commander. Fat lot of good that did.

I'm not pro-Templar. I'm just not down with whatever atrocity 'power to the people' posters are willing to justify for freedom on any given Tuesday.

You know what ?
Now I am ****ing pissed
So it's 100% ok to provide word of god publicly and directly and very explicitly to the fans about Leliana's status with the warden if she becomes divine because, hey, in THEORY even according to other endings she SHOULD abandon him to follow her vows......but god freaking forbid that was done for Shepard and the breath scene.
Sighs....I need a shot....and I don't even drink

I could be waaaay off base here because I don't pay as much attention to ME as I do to DA, or should I say, I don't replay ME games as much as I do DA. I only played ME3 once.

But if the Breath scene refers to the ending scene of ME3 my guess is this:

DA writers are done with Leliana if she becomes divine (or in general since she has the possibility to become divine), unless at some point they retcon it... Which is 100% possible as we all know.

I'm guessing they weren't so sure they were done with Shep and wanted to leave that door open?

All the Divine options have their pros and cons.

Leliana wants radical change, but too much too soon will be met with resistance and she'll probably get herself assassinated.

Vivienne wants to restore the status quo so she can play the system, but her being a mage will probably not sit well with the populace. I expect uprisings with her in charge.

Cassandra wants a middle ground, but her dislike of politics could hurt the Chantry's political clout. She will be encouraged to step down, but knowing her sense of duty it will probably end badly too.

Besides, this is Bioware. Nothing good lasts for long or it becomes outright bad.

Bhelen suggests otherwise. If Bioware prefers a choice, they will make that choice so much better than the others that Bioware will make it seem as though the other choices are wrong. Nothing indicates Bhelen's going anywhere and heck, it seems as though Bhelen is starting to win the morality argument. They might as well put a sign on people who chose Harrowmont that says "You chose Wrong"

After all, for Cass she has to make some concessions with the aid of the Inquisitor, she uses the Seekers to violently put down, or doesn't do anything about rival sects, and Vivienne puts down revolts which wind up fracturing the Chantry or causing some resentment. Leliana has no problems if you did her personal quest. Her endings are way better than the other choices and her becoming Divine puts a nice end to her personal story.

I dont think any of them are divine material to start with. It's just that Cass offers the best ( imo) solution.

Too bad she's already miserable even before she's Divine. I can't condemn her to that. She's also not very political which could be damaging in the long run. Leliana both knows politics and is compassionate. Best Divine for me.

Cassandra is the best one for Divine. She's evenhanded as well as open minded, garnering Mother Giselle's endorsement. She detests political intrigue which is a good thing... The Chantry has become too much like the Orlesian Empire for my tastes. And she's the most faithful. The position she's taking up is defined by and defines faith. Who better than someone who was blessed by a spirit of Faith? And she's the most altruistic and dutiful.

I rest my case.

I still prefer Leliana's college of enchanters ending (mainly because I don't like to conscript the mages), but this is probably the safer route...especially if Cassandra doesn't rebuild the seekers.

I don't care about the South, tbh. I want to tear down Tevinter first and reunite the Chantry. Then move on to Par Vollen and sack that ******. Wreck ****. Make things explode. Why just reform this Chantry when we could reform all of Thedas?

The only thing that stops me from thinking this is the right way is the fact that the Chantry binds Southern Thedas together.

Only if we can play as the Thedosian version of Tiber Septim and that the reunified Chantry's capital is in Minrathous.

Good thing the next games are going to be in the North
