This place would be a lot calmer if that's how it was handled I think. Origin has a way to allow users to opt in on Beta patches. As long as it's made clear it's a beta patch people would happily try it and provide feedback. Being optional players could also choose to wait.As soon as the PC folk have finished beta testing
When the official patch looks more like a beta patch, that's where people get somewhat irritated.
