It wasn't the bugs, or the missing maps, or BWAmelia's communication, or the Reaver nerfs, or anything like that. It was, without a doubt, the toxic responses from this "community". I use the term "community" lightly because that implies some sense of togetherness, mutual respect, or progressive desire to build...not tear down. Honestly for every build advice/strategy thread I'd see, there were 3 "lol this game sucks". Before the controversy of the patch the excuse was RNG loot, lack of progression, and a million examples of why DAMP isn't as good as ME3MP. I have a question for those in this "community" who are absolutely disgusted with BioWare, DAMP, or whatever else you're raging at this week.
Why are you here?
What possess you to post responses in a forum for a video game that you loathe? Why do you spend so much time ranting about something you don't like and just go find something that you actually enjoy? What are you hoping to accomplish by staying? Do you realize that this is abnormal behavior? It's not healthy adjusted behavior. Normal people who don't care about something, have stopped enjoying something, or experience severe anger/anxiety over something, STOP engaging in that behavior.
Why are you here?
I couldn't care less about competitive water polo so guess what? I don't populate whatever official web forum community exists surrounding the sport, ranting about how much I hate how the players look, how dumb the game is, and how stupid fans are for enjoying the sport. It's not a priority in my life. It's not on my radar of "things to give a **** about". That's what "not caring" REALLY looks like. So, before you post your next rage filled rant, just stop and ask yourself...
Why are you here?
