From what i see comminication, is and always will be an issue. Wether or not personal, criticism, praise or what not.

Electronic Arts is sitting ontop of all this. If Bioware was not held by a choke-leash this would probably not be.

I just get a more Universal feel and approach to this whole thing.

Stars are universes' bright and most powerful creations, They are born, rise and eventually die. Some explode into massive balls of fire, some are sucked into a black hole, feasted upon until they are sh*t out the other end to be gone for etirnity and soon forgotten.

What i figure in all that is, i'm fairly sure the EA business model comes from studies of space and stars relations to black holes.

Oh and Theme Hospital was a awesome freebie, if you have a pc from 1998. I bet that cashcow hurt to let go.

The sad fact of the matter is that these problems have been around since day 1, its hardly patch 3 that caused a community split. There's always been an "us vs them" or "apologists vs non-apologists" mentality on these forums, and plenty of us [myself included obviously] have darted between both sides of the issue in various threads.

It's a difficult situation to be sure, not least of all because with each progressive day more and more people are becoming irritated with the state of the MP. Here's hoping in a few months everything is fixed and some actually good content is added to the MP. I imagine the forums will be vastly different then, as no-one would have a justifiable reason for being so antagonistic.

I don't see why people aim this AT the community. Every person have their own likes and dislikes. Every person are diffrent in the way to respond to theese things. What is the ONLY common thing shares is the game it's all about. So i think players need to stop tossing the bring back and forth, understand that we all either love or not love something, that wont be forced by opinion nomatter how big the brick is.

The issue is the game we play. The ones design and create it, or the ones dictate the course.

They make, we pay, sadly regardless of what we buy theese days. I do like DA:I though, kindof miss Origin feel, DA:I feels like a mmo to me the way controls work, and the console like feel of the interface, the dampened stats and the feel that there's no chancerolls at all. But it's a good hack n slash game with token rpg elements besides a storyline.

EA business model comes from lack of competition and well hmm passionate customers who buy their games again and again. They will fail or have to change but I guess the time is not here yet.

The solution is simple. Give customers right to return "broken" product, product not working as advertised/expected, and in no time every publishers will learn its better to be honest and do not release **** only because X-mas is coming and they wanna sell.

Lack of competition? Hardly, it's 300 million people in a nation lacking backbone to get laws and legislations changed to NOT only benefit those who already sit on the money.

I can return my games, not a hassle there. It's my lawful right, even EA cannot escape this... yet.

We are angry because we do care. One of the very first lines in my video was 'This is the best fantasy coop game I have ever played'. And its true. I am angry because 30% of the time (statistically proven figure) I cannot complete a match.

I imagine a lot of people feel the same way.

u know, my best favorite coop-game was borderlands 2, but i think DAI-M is even better, undoubtedly it has potential. on the other side - i was able to finish every game i started since patch...

I'm just trying to find out if they have any fixes planned for MP, if not i'll continue solo, so hard to get a game, im still level 1, tried 3 games, almost finished one, it wasn't horrible but still bad, then I got DCed, and didn't get any experience for it.

I love it, alot is annoying but i really! do not take this DAMP seriously. My whole part in this is, i many times don't particulary like the games EA release after Mass Effect 1 and possibly 2 plus DA:O.. anything after, it's casual potates console port stuff i crack up for a relaxed easymode game.

My bigger picture is the trend, and how the games, are in my PC player perspective, progressively mundane, option lacking and just in general.. easy to chew entertainment. But the community, thats the real drive. It's like a roaring boiler, people shoveling coal into this roaring monster to make it huff and puff.

They can't destroy that and certainly not silence it. Can it change anything about the games, hardly, but atleast, it's active.

No the worst part has been some Bioware employees attitudes, I created a thread asking a question (Does DAMP have a community manager), there was no abuse and the discussion was a civil one. However the mods have been so pedantic about removing any remotely negative threads that my thread was unfairly targeted and closed and I have received a warning result of apparent abusive behaviour.

I think simply trying to sweep problems under the rug is ridiculous and the heavy handed tactics of mods on here leaves me even more concerned. At the end of the day we have a right to voice our concerns, provided that they are on topic and not abusive. I agree that some may have gone too far in displaying their discontent with current bugs but I don't believe I step out of line with my thread

Seeing as there's so many negative views, I'd like to give a positive one.

I've enjoyed nearly every second of this game, SP (300+hours) and MP (level 240 prestige thingy). I've had key bugs, crashes, etc, but still think this game is without a doubt game of the year of 2014. Played all DA and ME games and this is the one I've spent most time with.

#ThanksBioWareForTheGreatGame. Looking forward to more content.

I don't see EA having much to do with DAMP shortcomings. My brief non-Bioware EA Multiplayer experience on Origin has been pretty good.
Titanfall in my view was a product of impeccable quality. I don't remember ever seeing any bugs. Had the game not been so repetitive and had I had a stable group of friends to play with, I would have spent more time there. Dead Space 3 was also flawless. I've played only one co-op playthrough, but I could easily play more if I find nice partners.
I never got into the BF community, but one can expect them not to be satisfied with anything but painstaking quality. That is the bare minimum AAA tittles at full price should deliver.
Other players might have had different experiences and could prove me wrong, but I see EA being competent enough to deliver working, presentable games, among which DAMP is an anomaly.

All I will add is to say that the product speaks for itself.

If I knew before the purchase of this product concerning some bugs, then I would have the choice of not buying or waiting until until these bugs are fixed.

I personally hate the business model of shipping something before it is ready.  As this product is entertainment, I want to be immersed in it.  I want to have the fluidity that which entertainment mediums require.

I hate having to simply break pots over and over again.  As stupid as this bug is and the simple work around, I'm frankly just surprised as to why some program manager decided to keep this bug around before shipping?  It's just a huge immersion breaker for me.

I hate having to restart the game knowing I did not gain any experience and losing momentum with the host that I might particularly have liked to play with.  Restarting a level or rejoining multiplayer takes minutes.  Having to do this time and time again is another immersion breaker.

Eh, EA did wreck Battlefield 4 by wanting 5 different SKUs out for the next-gen console launch...
