Bioware catering to those who don't even buy their games.  Feminists got all good stuff taken out of bioware games and go off to another place for their rants.  I think I will start a video game production company where when feminists complain about how females are portrayed or lgbt complain not enough gayness and preach sessions we tell them to F themselves and if they don't like it, don't play it. I'm sure market is ripe for the 95% who don't want the 5% dictating what is or isn't in the video games.

Seriously - CDprojekt is apparently at the vanguard of dark, mature story telling... but I'm 99% certain that that's just because they save their players the trouble of having to mod in the boobs themselves.

Yup, that's why I love the witcher series, they don't give a sh*t about PC. Hopefully they realize a % of their sales are due to that as well.

Do you want me to pull up the story where the lead developer, a gay man, is intereviewed and speaks about how he feels he must insert gay issues into the game because gay issues are important to talk about and how he is always having to consider if he is putting enough in so it's not ignored but not too much where everybody feels it's shoved down their throats?   It's right here..... http://www.gamespot....r/1100-6417843/  I and many others don't want ANY gay rights issues in the games.  I don't play video games to hear stupid gay rights preach sessions.  If they want gay characters in the game that's fine, but leave the stupid preach sessions out of it!

I'm going to need to duck rotten tomatoes over this, but I was pleased that the desire demon got overhauled in DAI. Sorry. Choice spirit. It offered legitimate temptation and a nice dose of humor. I found it a lot easier to believe that somebody might actually accept its offer. Maybe it's just me, but that seems a lot "darker" than a funky purple vixen.

So much truth right there. They have been shoving it down our throats for years now. I wish they kept their socio-political stances out of their games.

 

I was so rolling my eyes with the Krem situation. I was like..."really Bioware?" And then the whole speech by Iron Bull almost trying to justify Krem's identity.

 

I wanted to throw up. Not because of the character, but because of how blatantly Bioware was shoving their SJW agenda down my throat... which is one of the many reasons I will not spend a penny on a BW game again.

Bioware has made statements indicating that they chose to take a liberal view. This means they will continue to include content designed for players who may be female or members of the LGBT community. Also, I feel this is important to mention, but the numbers you're throwing out are inaccurate, anecdotal at best. The community who plays video games is comprised of a decent sized portion of non heterosexual males. So if a company chooses to cater specifically to the portion that is not LGBT or female, that's entirely their business. But if Bioware chooses to include content that is more diverse, than that is Bioware's business.

Sloth assumed a variety of different forms including those of other demons. More powerful demons are not locked into one shape, and that difference is something that sets them apart from weaker, stupider demons. Which makes sense for... you know who... because it is supposed to be an ancient, very powerful demon, not just some random demon with exotic jewelry and a habit of groping itself in public.

God I'm glad I managed to just have fun playing a game and enjoyed the funny dialogue without being offended by some phantom agenda.  It sounds very tiring.
