Because only men can fix a broken woman by forcing a relationship on her after she clearly says she's not interested.
I've never felt more uncomfortableME3 made up for it a bit, but damn that ME2 romance was really bad.
During the ME2 romance scene I was like

I have no idea what Bioware were thinking. It was extremely uncomfortable.

Yeah, even if she was available to my femShep, I would strictly have her be her friend. Jack's character struck me as being very vulnerable emotionally and had a lot of garbage to work out. But then I don't really like the way most of the ME2 romances play out. I just stick with Liara or Ashley for the entirety of the trilogy.During the ME2 romance scene I was like

Sorry, Jack is straight.
Yes right, keep telling yourself that. What is it with this doublestandard where a female character can outright mention that they had sex with a women in the past and are still perceived as straight while if a male character does as much as kiss another dude once he will be forever remembered as the gay guy no matter what he does after that?

Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of all this canon character establishment! My male Shep plowed Jack and she enjoyed it! Because she is STRAIGHT.

So if Jacob admitted to kissing a guy, would you still consider him straight? If he admitted to receiving an oral sex from one? Or would a straight out pounding be consider too much for you to finally admitting he's not straight?
Just where do you draw the limits of self delusion?

Yes, because only straight women can enjoy (okay let's continue to use your calssy description) being plowed by a male lover. Everyone knows that bisexual women hate sleeping with men. That's why we call them bisexual. ![]()
Also it seems more like you can't hear the actual canon character establishment over the sound of the cpaslocked heterosexuality in your post.

When that one failed krogan test-subject of Okeer's helps clear the way toward Jedore's lab for you by hoisting some giant slab of rock and throwing it, Jack says, "Rough stuff. I like it." I think women just don't do it for Jack and she prefers manlier specimens.
Jack may have swung both ways in the past but her dialogue in turning down (what she believes to be) FemShep's advances indicate she is not really into women, suggesting that sleeping with them was more of an experiment for her than anything indicative of her sexuality.
I, however, would have loved to play as a Jackmance femshep.

*facepalm* ... [orientation] and [choice of sexual partners] are two different things (that you are conflating in this post).

Why are people whining about heterosexual characters not being bi or gay?

If it makes you sleep easier at night... sure, that's what's going on.

More like people whining (though the actual whining was surprisingly low for the BSN so far) about bi/bi-curious characters not drooling all over Shepard. But to answer your question: Mostly for the same reason people are still whining about the ME3 ending, about how ugly Cassandra supposedly is or about how gameplay in [insert game here] sucks. That reason being they want to and have nothing better to do right now.
Or in short, this is the inernet. It practically exists for whining and trolling (and maybe porn).

It wasn't creepy at all. I found it the most romantic out of all the LI story arcs.

While I'm still unsure about the other romances, I can personally confirm that it is at least less creepy and more romantic than the Morinth romance. So it got that going for it which is nice I guess. ![]()

She needed counselling and a few years with a psychiatrist. She is basically a victim of torture, physical, sexual and mental abuse. She shouldn't be anywhere near the Normandy, let alone being able to be magically cured by Sheploo goo.

She shouldn't be near the Normandy, agreed. But as she's there, she needs someone she can trust, someone who'll care for her and not use her like everyone else. Shepard is such a person.
