Why was Jack a LI only for Male Sheps?

Liara instantly thinks she knows Shepard, just like Bastila/Revan. I didn't mind Bastila either, but it's a little unnerving when I think about it.

lol, I didn't realize that those two pairing was similar including the Jedi and Asari mindmeld thingy. Its sad that FemRevan was retconned and BroRevan/Bastila is canon. Oh.. no wonder the game try so hard to make me think Shepard/Liara was canon.

 

Regardless of romance state, Jack and Shepard have more in common together than everyone in the ship. She's a victim of a Cerberus's project and Shepard is also an unwilling Cerberus experiment. Its sad that you can't talk to Jack about Akuze as Sole Survivor Shepard and you can't give any respond to her calling you "Cerberus lapdog".

That's just kind of my impression of Bastila/Liara. I don't know if it was intentional. There's kind of a mystical/otherworldly bond in both of them, I guess. While, as you point out, someone like Jack might have a more down to earth bond from personal experience (depending on our origin at least). But yeah, it's too bad it's not overtly stated. About the closest we get is Vasir associating the two. I also like the Shadow Broker's comment. How the Collectors will pay almost as much for Jack as Shepard.

I think that while Jack, I believe, was involved sexually with a couple, it may not have been something she enjoyed and only engaged in because of the dynamic.

 

By the way, did you guys know that Courtenay Taylor who voiced Jack also voiced Juhani from KOTOR?
