What is your favourite Inner Circle (companion's) quest? What is your least favourite?

I think I like Cullen's the most. What works for me is that it is broken in small segments over the course of the story and it is happening in Skyhold, both of which imo makes it integrated in the story better.

Coles is an interesting too because there is no "right" outcome.

I wish Cassandra's quest was a bit longer and a bit more involved. And I like Josephine's quest the least, because it is basically bunch of WT missions (but maybe one of the option to solve the quest still worth it!).

(I haven't done Vivienne's quest yet)

Varric, the dynamic between him and his friend is fun and goes further in explaining Varric as a person.

I kinda like Vivienne's. I got it reasonably early, thought it was reasonably straightforward but also illuminated her character. I would have liked Cassandra's more, but it was kinda poorly explained, IMHO.

Sera for the long string of confusing swears and Solas because I get to kill some stupid Kirkwall mages.

Cassandra - Promise of Destruction and Guilty Pleasures.

Cole - Subjected to His Will.

I like Promise of Destruction. I usually go it alone with Cassandra and use her for the ass-whippings. I like Cole's because there seems to be no right answer and because of the questions it asks. And you get a letter from a Rivaini Seer which was also cool.

I love Cole's most, it's really really a good one, with no "right or wrong" consequence. It's really touching too see how other people cares a lot about him.

Cass' is also really good, since it answers lots of questions I always asked myself.

I love Cullen's Nemesis quest quite well... I love his character  so everything about him I generally like. It's the only time he'll come with you in the field & you'll get the best romance line IMO. I love his Perseverance quest too, that one is quite touching & made me wonder whether I'd done the right choice for the rest of the game.

However I somehow doesn't like IB's... It's just... blah. They could've done better to make the choices.

Aye, Cole's was the most interesting to me too. Fascinating character.

Solas' was pretty amazing. The tea scene, the build-up with the bodies, those choices, the doubt, dialogue options - magical perk, the Rift mage option, romance option, the elven Inquisitor actually understanding actual elven, the returning scene to Skyhold... All in all, it was a touching story.

Cole's quest was pretty great, too. And Cassandra's romance novel, especially right after her shouting at Varric. I love their dynamics.

Cullen's was the worst, I think - getting to that Altar of Dumat, everything is in tatters, the Tranquil boy is dying, and the entire Samson arc just made no sense. What was he promising to the Red Templars? Why did they follow him? What did they see as their grand task? Why would they respect him? Did he have charisma, a goal, a personal stake in Cory's victory? No. It all rang hollow for me, especially after Calpernia's arc and the intact Altar of Dumat. I always side with the mages, and each time Cullen's quest makes me regret it.

Cole, hands down. I really love how his quest was handled. I already liked Cole as a character to begin with, but the quest endeared him to me even more.

I see this one as more of main quest line quest, since you only get it if you side with mages. And from that perspective, imo, it's more of a Samson's personal quest. (same way you get Calpernia's personal quest on the Templar side from Leliana). You get quite a bit about Samson's motivations if you Judge him.  I don't know.... I've always kind of felt sorry for Samson and the choices he made.

As far as Cullen's involvement in this quest goes, i guess it gives you more insight into Cullen character (this one and the scene at the lake if you are a mage in romance really show some very dark parts of his character) and I like the Samson Judgement part, it gives you the option to harden/soften him (at least that's how I see it).

This 100%.

Varric's is my favorite for a reason. I liked the drama with some of the other quests, but they felt more like interactive cutscenes than actual quests.

Seconded. I actually sympathize with Samson, he wasn't always a bad bad guy IMO. Calpernia's pretty interesting too however, but I always side with mages (and will always do so  )

Cassandra's 'Guilty Pleasures' wins for being hilarious and adorable.

I also love Iron Bull, Cole and Leliana's for the huge impact it has on the character's life and personality (though Leliana's could've been implemented better). Leliana's quest about Calpernia was also very interesting.

Cassandra's Seeker one and Varric's Valammar one were also great because you had to go through a dungeon to do it.

Blackwall's was very unexpected, and definitely got to me.

Solas' was quite emotional, though I always find things with spirits interesting.

It's a shame that Vivienne and Dorian's were pretty much limited to one dialogue (plus the aftermath conversation). I liked them, but they were too short.

For emotional impact, Dorian's quest wins by a mile, at least for me. I can relate to him so damn hard. Cole's quest comes second, seeing him suddenly angry is really interesting.

For sheer awesomeness, the Calpernia quest wins. People who only side with mages are seriously missing out (besides, siding with templars gives you the option to completely disband the order, which is exactly what my mage Adaar did).

I agree with some others here that the worst quest for me was to collect Grey Warden artefacts for Blackwall. I did like his other companion quest, though (Revelations).

My favorite componion quest is Cullen's, Before The Dawn. I liked how much he was emotional and physical involved, i.e. that he accompanied you on the mission, that he had a past with the villain and that Cullen wanted to be there when you judge him. Man, that was really personal for him. It also tied in niceley with DA2 and your main story arch of Inquisition.

And Cassandra's "Guilty Pleasure" quest made me laugh so hard... It's my second favorite one.

I think Cole's, I get chills every time Solas tells him "You are a spirit of compassion". Mainly because I remember way back during conversations about him and theorizing that this was what he was, it always felt right to me and I'm so glad it's true.

My favorite, All new, Faded for her

I loved seeing Solas getting mad at those mages. My least favorite is, Demands of the Qun.

Dorian's thing with his father, Varric's thing with Bianca was really interesting, Cole's is really interesting, and I really loved both of Cassandra's. Always let Varric give her the book and the everything which happens when finding the Seekers is amazing and does a lot to really flesh out who she is as a person. I liked Solas' quest but I felt like there should have been more to it and it annoys me I can't talk to the mages before deciding to let Solas kill them or not.

IB's quest annoys me on multiple levels and I am conflicted with Viviene's quest, but I am conflicted with her on a lot of things. Josie's one is all around meh to me.

I haven't played them all yet--haven't even gotten near Solas', I hope I don't miss it.

But so far, the one I liked the most was Varric's, including the title.  How can you go wrong with a quest named "Well, ****."

Guilty Pleasures for da win. So goddamn cute. And All new, faded for her because Solas and everything about him is interesting.
