He's still playing pretty much every day (AFAICT) but lost his taste for the forum after the BiovarMod00000000000000000002 fiasco/affair/shenanigans.

He was silly and so was his avatar. I kinda miss it.

Play on gold and platinum and be selective on which lobbies to join, lot's of players that have no business playing on those levels try to join so never start a platinum game before the lobby is full.

After 630 hours played I only miss 16 UR cards and that is with 0 credit hacking, just a lot of platinum games. Beware of credit hackers in PC lobbies by the way, usually UR Xs but very low N7/CP and always no skills at all, they spend most of the games dead and in general making things harder for those that know what they are doing.

If you aren't into cheating then rocket farming Glacier or Jade on Platinum is the best way to make money.

I made a lot of money with speedruns. However, you will have a hard time finding a group that's willing to do them. Most people would just page Crash. If I started today, I would, too.

Credit glitching was punishable by death in the empire.

The PSP only gets 2 UR chances at 7.5% once you've maxed your gold cards (excluding consumables). Before then it is lower since other cards can be selected before getting a chance for an ultra rare which effectively lowers your chances.

I don't know about arsenal packs but I'll bet its the same thing.

Crashsuit plays at like 2am EST.

I'd rather roll double cryo IV packs than Spitfire upgrades

Frigging hell! Is it me or is ME3MP overrun with nooblets?

Joined a Platinum lobby with some dude that had 8k+ N7 Rating (20k challenge points), second guy was 10k N7 rating (shitloads of challenge points as well), third guy had 12k N7 rating. So the logical conclusion is that these guys have played a lot and know what to do? NO! They spent the entire match camping the LZ and getting overrun by Banshees and Phantoms while the Ravagers took potshots at them from the distance. They didn't even move out during the Pizza objectives, forcing me to run through shitloads of mobs (had used my missiles on the kill target objectives).  Needless to say, we wiped at the second objective wave.  :(

The logical conclusion is that they have played a lot. N7/Challenge rating means nothing, just ask LAK10UK

An indicator, perhaps, but nothing more.

It happens, but in my experience high n7/CP usually means good players, but yeah there are exceptions as well. There are some cases where I wonder it if it might be sold accounts (having played WoW I know that happened a lot there at least)

Played Platinum recently. Two players join our lobby, a human adept and a barbarian soldier. Both with really low N7/CP, and we expected them to drop really quick. Human adept took a proper spot on Hydra (although he got fucked on Rio vs Geth later :D ), and Bavarian Revenanted some Inferno/Incendiary fun for himself.

And I get duckload of high N7/CP players who confuse Bronze and Platinum...Last one was Asari Infiltrator (8000+/30000+) who just stood in the corner and spammed dark channel, not much shooting or anything, just ripping everybodys ears apart.

Sometimes when we host Platinum we switch the lobby to Gold and then ninja it back 'cause I swear many of the gold pugs are, on average, better.

They were obviously doing the DC chalenge to keep building the CP.

On topic, the key elements to the OP's solution are (1) play plat to earn maximum credits (2) buy only arsenal packs (3) profit.

that's cause gold has so much less bullshit than platinum. Boss spam is not fun. And the players don't really care about money (compared to plat) on gold.

It's just anecdotal, but I always reaped better results when saving 2 mil+ credits, then buying PSPs (or APs, if you'd like).  It seemed like the drops were pretty streaky, almost as much as my tighty whities.  Not only this, I seemed like I would get the same gun 2 or 3 times during the buying bonanza.

Whenver I bought a pack here and there, the results were pretty frustrating.

Again, this is all anecdotal.

I usually save at least 4 million before spending at this point, and I usually get the same thing, 1 or 2 of the same UR drop multiple times.

584 hours, mostly gold but more plat recently and I still have over 40 (I got bored of counting, so it may be closer to 60) UR spots to fill...

I stopped playing for over a year, but came back to see if I could just even get to try guns like the Venom, Spitfire or BP Punisher, but they're all still sitting pretty at zero. I'm not really bothered about maxing everything, but just a chance to try out some of the combinations would be nice, I feel I've done my time.

I'd cheat if I could, but PS3... ;)
