The private quarters, or what ever the official name is (your chambers aka bedroom) is one of the biggest missed opportunitys in this game. There is nothing to do there, absolutley nothing.

Why can I change my bed but I can't romance in here? I choose to romance the heck out of Cassandra, but the initial love scene was somewhere else in the castle (I wont spoil it) and then when i say "Hey I wanna spend some time with you" we go to her loft in the smithy and just make out?! I have a pimped out bedroom with a luxurious orlesian bed and a view that would make even Andraste cream her pants and I'm forced to spending my romantic adventures in what ever quarters my lover has? This is so dissapointing and depressing. It really makes my Inquisitor feel forever alone.

But it's not just the romance that are wasted on this awesome looking room in the castle. There is nothing interactive in this room what so ever. What could have been cool would have been the inclusion of a mirror where one could change apperance. We all know how frustrating the character creation can be. You pick and choose what looks good in the light you are given in the editor and then when you go outside, the black hair you thought you just put on is in fact brown. And the sorta nice suntan you were going for is in fact albino level if there is no warm light right next to your face. Remember in DA2 where we could go to the Black Emporium and change our apperance in a mirror? Yeah so do I, but apperantly they diden't think that we liked that. Well I got news for you: We did!

Other nice things in that room would have been the ability to change my pyjamas. If you could give me this abundance of fluff on the interior (windows, drapes, banners etc) why could you not include an antivian tailor or something so i could buy myself a set of new casual clothes? Now I have to do this with modding, but I dont want to burden this already crash ridden game with more stuff that might break the delicate flower that is DA:I.

Why can't I rest in my own bed?! It would have been good to be able to have a few options for the bed like: Go to bed with lover. It wouldn't bring anything to the game, more then maybe a cutscene where you wake up with your lover next to you and to that majestic view out the balcony door. Just for immersions sake. I mean that is the only reason for the quarters right? Since there is nothing practical about it.

Oh and why does my Inquisitor always start in the courtyard of my castle and not in my chambers? It would make more sense to zone in / fade in to your inquisitor standing in front of his open fireplace in his (or hers) jammies going "Ah, that was a well deserved rest, now let's see how the castle fares" rather than just "waking up" in the middle of the courtyard going "Where am I? And why are I wearing my jammies?!"

TL;DR version

Quarters are boring, would have liked for romances to take place there. To be able to alter my apperance, to change my clothes. To do ANYTHING at all really. Other then walk up, sigh, and walk out again. Oh and climb that ladder I have in the room for some reason. Hours of entertainment that.
