I'm sure the writers would be delighted spending so much time crafting a character's personality and story arc only to have us ignore the dialogue entirely and just start beating the sh*t out of said character for lols.
Dear Bioware and EA..... This is what we want in a game

Use "I" instead of "we" next time ...as is, I happen to think your opinion is terrible.
All I really want is more depth and better attention to detail, and better fit & finish for the PC version. I'm tired of playing games diminished by multi-platform considerations on PC.
Other than that, there's no sense complaining about the tomato bisque when you ordered clam chowder. Personally I'd like a varied menu from which I can order what I like, but I'll critique what I get on its own merits. DA clearly intends to be a different game from GTA.

OP, if that's what you want, play those. I want more of dragon age origins and dragon age 2 (not the rushed elements), and more of the story of inquisition.
Most of all, I hope to see the warden again.

Those are meaningful consequences? No, just no. I think perhaps you and I play games for different reasons and if Bioware could learn anything it should be to ignore you lol. I would have to drop DA if it became Grand Theft Dragon Age.The meaningful consequences doesn't require much though. If you do the crime you must do the time. If I walk into Cullens chambers and started beating the crap outta him I can either fight him to the death (which resulted in everyone ganging up on me) or I can surrender (Cullen would engage in dialogue asking me to surrender), and be taken to jail... Just like Skyrim.
In American Army if you shoot and kill your officer you get teleported to prison
Spoiler
in which you must start a new game or go back to a previously saved game.
As a mage only player if I commit a serious crime (Murder using magic), and I get caught I would be teleported to a prison chamber surrounded by Templars, as I'm shackled down on a table, and then be made tranquil. After the ritual is completed I would be ported to Josephine's office. I would be given simple instructions to give paperwork to other people. Instead of leading the inquisition I would live the rest of my life as a servant tranquil.
Oh I like the idea of a bounty.... I can pay my way out.
