Well not really, as it is my second playthrough.

I am just putting it out there: I am right before the choice to either go and investigate the templars or try to convince the mages to help you closing the breach.

Well after Val Royeaux I went back to the hinterlands to finish up on some sidequests. I ran into a group of templars and after killing those (red ones) Cassandra informed me that Corypheus must have sent them. Now if you played the DLC in DA2 you immediately know who it is, and basically you are spoilered by your own game.

So beware on what you tackle in the world map.

Everyone who played Da2 dlc knew or suspected it was him when you hear him and see his siluette in the intro.

That's weird, must be a bug because they aren't meant to spawn until after Haven gets destroyed?

That being said though, there's another case of the game accidentally jumping ahead in the plot, if you recruit Michel in Empire du Lion before doing WEWH, because Michel's war table mission mentions the Eluvians... which you have not heard about yet, since Morrigan hasn't joined the Inquisition?

Those are actually other Eluvians - from the Masked Empire, which is kind of the prequel to the Wicked Hearts quest. Also, there're Eluvians as early as the Dalish origin in DAO, as well as the Witch Hunt DLC and DA2, so information about Eluvians is not a spoiler in itself.

I did not. Because I never believed BW would actually go through with handing us a second hand boss. It was really a let down

I had Solas do that to me on my third playthrough. I don't remember if I had been to Val Royeaux at that point or not. Loaded an autosave after having my ass handed to me by fade rift junkies. Lo and behold a group of venatori are waiting in my face that were not there before. After taking them out Solas spouts something about Cory-****** sending them. I had a good laugh at that. "Whoa there, Brolas! We haven't lost Haven just yet. Don't get ahead of yourself boy."

What ? Because you believe that bioware would recycle both voice and char model rather than believe that an old magister who survived for 1000+ years couldn't survive a main char who fails at what he tries to do all the time?

Before DAI came out, I thought Corypheus didn't have the stature for being the Big Bad of an epic game in his own right. I think I was at least partly correct with that estimation.

I figured that cory survived at the end of the dlc since the warden you sided with acts so strangely and has a weird smirk as he/she walks out. I did not count on cory being the main evil.

The thing is, Cory was so much harder to fight in Legacy than he is at the end of DAI. In DAI, he's easy to defeat.

I wish there was three corys that fought the same way as cory did in legacy at the same time.

I encounter several regular spoilers, some weirder than others.

When having my second chat (Dalish inquisitor) with Cassandra in Haven, she asks "I'm told that some of your clan might still be alive, do you ever intend to go back?"  What?  What do you mean _still alive_ Cassandra?  I just sent Leliana's agents to tell them I wasn't your prisoner anymore and you're talking as if something really bad has happened.  (Luckily what could happen later has yet to happen to me in any playthroughs but still)

Then there's the locked house in Redcliffe with the Oculara where companions start waffling about the Venatori like I'm supposed to know who they are.  I think you're supposed to do the tavern and the chantry bits first I suppose.

None annoy me as much as Solas' "I believe I sense one of the artifacts of my people."  Solas sweetie, we had this chat.  The one where you said you didn't know who your people were.  Unless there's something you're not telling the Dalish inquisitor who has been fawning over you?  Hmmm.

Another spoiler is that you can talk to Connor before meeting with Alexius, which leads to a one very weird conversation.

You can also enter the empty church where everything is busted for no reason.

Another spoiler in Haven if you talked to Varric about whether he believes you are the "Herald of Andraste". He promptly tells you what happens when Haven is attacked, your run in with the templars (Champions of the Just) and your trip to the fade (Adamant). :)

In Redcliffe I walked into a room full of skulls and Cassandra said something like "that's what the Venatori are doing". But we didn't know what the Venatori was until that point

Would point out that if Solas mentions Corypheus before he attacks Haven he must have forgotten his cover story because of course he knows who the Elder One is, he just doesn't choose to tell you.   Of course you only realise this once you see the epilogue.

I did think about that too, but I never thought that they would actually go through with this guy being the mainvillain. I mean, if we follow your previous argument, that Hawke, who failed as a hero apparently, did manage to defeat the magister, but did not kill him, how much of a threat can Cory actually be? In DA2 you could atleast argue that the player felt the threat of cory, because he was an unknown quantity. In DAI you know you already beat him. They did not even imply that he got stronger. The orb is left vague most of the time. It is not really a personal power of cory, rather than a tool to break the heavens. And the Undead dragon is instantly discredited because at best he is an archdemon (which you beat as well in DAO) and at worst he is some inferior version of it (it is).

Really the bosses are just from the second hand store. And there is no reason why. They could have invented a creature just as easily.

I was fairly certain after Enemy of Thedas trailer Cory was the big bad. And silhouette at start of game confirmed it. I was pretty excited and his official reveal felt epic, but final battle was total let down. He should have been a much tougher final battle requiring all companions to defeat.

Cassandra's mention of the clan has always bothered me: it makes no sense for her to refer to the War Table mission, since the clan might

Spoiler
and it only becomes available later - unless you avoid chatting with her, I guess (can you even get the mission before Skyhold?).

The premature party banters about Venatori are pretty hilarious: if you have Solas and IB in the party, they can start talking about a shopkeeper who's "obviously a Venatori agent" or something, way before meeting Alexius :D.

My statement was not about combat, but about presence and plausible behaviour. Corypheus had both in the Haven scene, unexpectedly for me, but then he descended into "Mwahaha" territory and all the potential was lost.

Yeah, but while that's knowledge that we as the audience know about, the Inquisitor does not, nor does anyone else in the Inquisition? In-universe, the Inquisition would have no reason to know of Eluvians at that point, since they only learn of them later in the game?

(The only person who would know is Solas, but he's not telling)

. I ran into a group of templars and after killing those (red ones) Cassandra informed me that Corypheus must have sent them.

I had reported that as a bug before, I had same thing on my 2nd PT.

My guess is that this encounter should never trigger before the Skyhold.

Pity it's still there. Not game-breaking, may be, but extremely spoilerish.  I think you should report it too, there's a chance that they might eventually fix that.
