There is definitely a chest-looting update bug. Had myself stuck at 23 for a while. Then it went to 25 while on a PuG. After the round was over checked for the Commendation Chest wasn't there and under the challenges screen it was showing the looted-chests as 23.   
Did a quick solo round and got it done finally!
Opened the Commendation chest and found a Sundering in it, that Horse-Head though! Thank you Maker.
I hope the Victory chest guarantees a Unique, at least!

It's a relief to hear that the bug doesn't necessarily stay stuck.

It would be great if people could occasionally post the total chests achieved so far and platform please.

 

We can use that information for reference when doing future quests as it would be interesting to understand the rate at which people play

and whether the rate is linear or whether the rate builds up or falls away.

I think they are considering the "community" as a combined of all platforms? Could be wrong.

No they are not, pc was  almost 2000 chests behind ps4 at some point during the stream.

Meeting the target requires 3,700 chests per hour across the weekend.

They do.

PS3 and Xbox 360 both have a 37,500 target.

I'm thinking they should have made the Community goal a tad higher. Like, 75k instead of 50k. On PC it's already sitting at 24 thousand after four hours.

 

Edit: D'oh! Brainfart. The community goal is 250k. Well, considering it's at 32k after 6.5 hrs it's still imminently doable, I should think.

The rate will probably go up too, as people are still getting home from work/school and just the general boost in players weekends probably bring.

hmm it says I've completed my challenge but still can't get the chest (25 looted chest one). There's nothing in the free tab

In the Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer Challenge for this weekend, we are tracking both personal and community progress.

There are rewards for both, unfortunately the delivery of these rewards might be delayed until Monday.

I also think BioWare wanted a target that was challenging but achievable for the first one.

Not a good idea, if we end up failing people will feel like all their incredible efforts amounted to nothing and will start a riot.

You need about 560 chest/hour across the weekend to hit the target.

Both Boog13 and I got the bug on Xbox 1.

 

Not sure about the others who've had it.
