So this is the issue. I never got round to playing DA2 before so I decided to do it now before I play Inquisition. However there is a problem. I have two separate saves for both my DA:O and DA:A because I didn't want to import a dead warden to DA:A. Only problem is that the decisions is DA:A will not matter if I import my DA:O save.

So should I replay DA:A importing my dead warden? I really don't want to create this paradox though so should I just import my DA:O save and be done with it? Is there going to be some consequences I don't like from not importing DA:A?

Import DA:A. Unless it doesnt have the choices you made in Origins?

Yeah that's the problem. It doesn't have my Origins choices because I didn't import my dead warden. So should I just import my dead Warden into DA:A and play through it again? I'm not sure how this paradox would affect DA2

There are one or two quests that dont happen depending on what you did in Awakening. The import is not seamless but generally it usually manages to get the important things right (like who killed the AD and who rules ferelden)

heres a light spoiler

Ah okay, so it would just assume that even if I imported a dead warden to Awakening that he did actually die and wouldn't be retconned in DA2. I'll go play though Awakening again with a dead warden then, partly also due to the fact that I'd like my decision about certain characters

to be reflected in DA2 (plus Awakening is good fun anyway).

Here is a tutorial how to import into Awakening from DAO and play Orlesian Warden.

i played through the game like this and imported into DA2. A few issues though - the Orlesian Warden should have the same gender as your Warden from Origins (otherwise the codex/dialogues in DA2 might be wrong regarding this) and you may get a letter from your Warden's LI (a very minor issue).

Oh sweet stuff. Thanks a bunch for pointing me to this, just what I needed.
