It's not cheating, it's modding.

It's not cheating, it's modding.

Only for the glorious mustard race, console peasants do cheat :P

I'm sorry, what part of cheating is bothering you? Someone mods a game for more credits? How does that hurt you or the game play experience?

Did you drop into a lobby where someone had modded the number of enemies to a higher amount?

Did you have a game where everything was too easy?

Or did you run into someone who switched sides and started shooting other players?

What, *specifically* is the problem and how did it hurt *your* gameplaying experience?

Hint: getting more credits does not hurt your ability to play the game.

"Someone mods a game for more credits?" why?

you need to play to get credits .

Is no fun in a game wen 1 player kills all.

If you want to play whit mod just make it private.

why not do it the right way?

for me it's just noobs who need mod's to get credits

I play this a lot on PC, and encountering cheaters is very rare (yes it does happen but not that much).

Terrible players leaching gold and platinum is a much worse problem.

To answer your question - no sorry they wont do anything about it - official support ended years ago.

I find THIS statement interesting. Because except for hacking damage values, 'one player killing all' usually means the other players didn't even try.

Being outscored does not necessarily mean the person who outscored you was cheating. I've been 'top scorer' with the Volus Mercenary, the most support-oriented of the Volus kits, and not by a small margin either. No cheats used, no cheats needed, I simply ran around and shot things. That's about all you can do on the Volus Merc.

I've been on the bottom of the scoreboard too on many occasions, despite using powerhouse kits and builds. Other players were simply better.

Having credits and gear still does not give anyone an advantage over anyone else; this is a COOPERATIVE multiplayer game. Meaning you COOPERATE to succeed in the mission and your XP depends on how well the TEAM did, not how well YOU did. Apart from the minor boost (and it really is a minor boost) of individual achievement medals, what matters is how well the team did, how quickly the team accomplished the objectives and on how many of the team made it out at the end.

Cheater logic.
"If I use esteroids, does that hurt you or the sport??"
Once playing Monster Hunter I saw a low rank level hunter with G Rank equipment. His justification? "I was gonna get that equipment eventually anyway, I just decided to get them earlier just to save time. Hey, we're winning, so why you complaint?".

Just let cheaters play among themselves.

Yeah, well, here's the thing: "G Rank" crap in a different game might actually be overpowered in that different game. In ME 3 MP, not so much. The difference between level 1 weapons and level 10 weapons is noticeable, but not overpowering. Taking three shots to kill something vs two shots may matter when you get swarmed, but otherwise it just takes longer and you might find yourself running to an ammo box a *little* more often.

Plus, the random nature of the requisition store is one of the worst designs I've ever seen simply because it IS random and deliberately designed to keep you on the treadmill as long as possible.

Cheat credits a few times and fill out your manifest, and hey, now you can have fun with the game instead of worrying about whether or not you're going to get the weapon you really want. And with a full manifest, you can start pursuing all the challenges and mix it up when you hit one that feels tedious.

Other cheats can be a problem. Especially the one that allows you to 'switch sides' and shoot other players. I have no tolerance for that.

But cheating credits? Don't see the harm. This isn't a competitive PvP game where you gain an advantage over other players by using better gear.

As your life gains in complexity, you will learn that TIME is too valuable to spend chasing random "stay on the treadmill" goals put there by the developers specifically to WASTE your time and keep you playing the game in order to meet internal success numbers.
