Have to agree with that, I'd go mental if I had to live the rest of my life off plants!! xD

Or if he REALLY wants to get her hot and steamy he wont cook at all, and just have her do the cooking.Exactly!!! While we usually do appreciate a man who can cook a more elegant dinner, if we want our hormones to be racing it would have to be something more down to earth involving a lot of smoke, grease and sweat .........
So yeah, good luck with the bone china plate, Bunzybabe!! xD

There's nothing wrong with loving animals, but the body does need its protein.
Meat marinated in the blood of your fallen foes.

I know and everyone tells me that all the time but I've been a vegetarian since I was 12 years old, so it's hard to change now.
If you refer to a "Viking feast" in the historical sense; then beef, mutton, lamb, goat and horse meat will do since it was consumed by viking settlements. (Sour) herring and cod, and if you can get your hands on some lutefisk (lye fish), that will top it.
For fruit; sloes, plums, apples and blackberries will do. As for vegetables; carrots, parsnips, turnips, celery, spinach, cabbage, radishes, fava beans will work nicely.
And of course alcohol, since it was consumed a lot. Most notably mead.
Hope that helps.

There are plenty of sources of protein that don't come from animals. Like beans and almonds, which i am sure you already know.I know and everyone tells me that all the time but I've been a vegetarian since I was 12 years old, so it's hard to change now.

I eat meat because it tastes good, but you can be healthy and meet protein requirements while vegan.
Yes I agree completely, plus I'm not that completely vegan, I do eat cheese and drink milk and such and there are times I would eat eggs if I feel I really lack the protein. I don't criticize others for eating meat either, I prepare meat for my dogs every day, so luckily I'm not one of those hysterical meat haters lol.

Oh sure, there are definitely alternatives of course, it's just that with meat you can get it in large quantities right away. That is true that you can meet those requirements while being vegan though.
