Seriously, Flemeth is awesome. With the right "reborn god related" plotline she's be a fantastic villain, and she's regulated to only a scene or two per game.
Let's have the warden versus flemeth in DA4 (the custom hawke method works well, a few voices and boom! Instant warden), plus if morrigan drank, it'd add a very cool element to the storyline and possibly the kind of tragic choices we miss.
The wolf and her, if he turns her to his side or vice versa, would be some serious world-ending stuff. With room for darkspawn (possibly a new even worse kind of archdemon) and some seriously story heavy potential.
And we need story heavy... no more fetch quests, no more epty temples with stories told in text boxes, we need cutscenes and dialogue and a story that blows all of our minds. We need a city or two (just because we didn't want to play ONLY in kirkwall doesn't mean we never ant to see another city, or that they should be the smallest maps in the game), and if you're going to give us an army, let us see it a little more... even if it's mostly windowdressing or background, origins let us see so much more of our foces then inquisition did but apparently we have a REALLY big army (sadly, outside of adamant, we never see it).
Flemeth needs to play a bigger roll along with the wolf, she's too awesome not to.
And give us back our wardens... if we have to start in a jail cell in tavinter, so be it. No matter who you introduce, we'll always want to see the warden again, and the only way to get their personalities right is to let us take control.
(Spoilers) Bioware: It's time for Flemeth to become a major player in dragon age - she'd make an awesome villain along with the wolf.

I'd actually prefer Flemeth/Mythal as the hero, specially with all this talk about how drinking from the well, was bad. Be cool to see her turn out to be some sort of savior figure, and whomever drunk from the well be a key figure in it.

Yeah she could be... but I also think she could be a badass, complex villain if the stakes are right.

Did not care for seeing her in DA2 when I killed her, did not care for seeing her in DAI at all either. A case of "your decisions are ****** worthless".

When did you kill her in DA2? You may have killed her in DAO, but even Morrigan is not sure of that. DA2 simply reminded the gamer who played DAO that Flemeth is wily and resourceful.

I hope she isn't dead for real, because she is one of my favourite characters in DA.
I kind of look at her as some kind of antihero as well.

Isn't Flemeth dead? I thought she died post-credits. Whatever. The lore hardly matters at this point, they'll just retcon it like they do everything they regret.

At least Flemeth has a reasonable enough excuse for coming back...let's not forget Anders' resurrection..."I just didn't die. You saw me die but I didn't..."

I thought she was a villian in DAO, but then I considered that she didn't smite me with lightning for taking her grimoire for Morrigan, so I thought she was pretty cool. I like that she is behind everything.

Flemeth's continued existence in DA2 onward is not some sort of retcon. Even if you slay her in Origins, Morrigan is not totally certain that she's actually dead, and says straight up that she will try to prepare herself in case Flemeth somehow returns. In Witch Hunt, Morrigan basically says that she was wrong and Flemeth may not be truly human.

Poorly phrased sentence on my part. I killed her in DAO, and they revived her in DA2, I wanted her dead. Her importance in DA2 was to bring Hawke's family to safety yes, but, I felt cheated when I killed her and saw her continued existence. Annoyed even more so when I had to even interact with her in DA3.
The explanation which I got, I even have to admit was less silly than when I had Leliana die in DAO, or Anders apparent resurrection, was that she hid a part of her essence in the amulet Hawke carried. ****** Voldemorted me.

I disagree. Female characters don't make good villains, especially major ones. Also, she puffed from the face of Thedas. I prefer her to stay where she is, a witchy witch speaking cheesy lines with a good voice actor behind her.

Oh, do go on.
Please tell us females what role we should play in video games. Window dressing for male characters to ogle at? Sex bot companion for males to ogle at? [insert role here] for males to ogle at? I mean, duh, we all know that women could never ever be complex enough to be a good villain.

I didn't agree with the part about women. They can be great villains, or antagonists, or protagonist, whatever role they fill.
I liked the part with the cheesy lines, and good voice actor. That is my impression of her character. Good, but in every playthrough of DA:O, she will always die. Only to be retconned in da2.

Please, excuse me, but forum rules prevent me from saying it. I stand by my word: female characters do not make good villains. I would prefer BioWare to stay on their path and provide us with the male major villains just like they always do. Flemeth has her own chores(playing old sage role and questioning everything with a little bit of giggle) in the world and I would not like go disturb her only to see her forcefully becoming a villain.

That's nice to know; thanks for sharing! Good grief, what neanderthal basement do people like this crawl out from?
can't speak for him, but I am a 6'4 ogre. I live in a cave that normal people should never lay eyes on. But I'm not in that train of thought. There is a female antagonist that I found even more sinister than even characters like Loghain/Rendon Howe, and they were gorgeous (not saying it's a requirement for a good antagonist before people like Anita Sarkeesian jump on me for that trope). Would have people like her as a main villain any day of the week.

I try to advocate this ina ny thread I see it in. Personal attacks or insults generally are frowned on -- Mods are kinda harsh on that stuff and I wouldn't like to see anyone get a temp, even if it may be unlikely for the action, ban.
I get into it with people a lot so it not always easy to remember it myself.
