Yeah Cass is basically asking a close friend if a certain investment is a good idea.

Lel is a yandere.

The Inquisitor and Cassandra don't even have to be on friendly terms for her to ask him; she disagreed with every major decision that my Lavellan made and was a bit hostile towards him in Skyhold because of it, and she still asked him whether or not she should dedicate her life to rebuilding the Seekers.

Well Bioware is going to render your choice of Divine meaningless, so I say they all suck.

I just want to conquer Thedas for the Tevinter Imperium as the Archon, tbh.

Asshat Inquisitor is noncanon. Just Leliana is automatically your friend, and Alistair hates you if he's in the Wardens, unless you're sleeping with him.

The only thing that gives me pause when it comes to Leliana being Divine is whether or not it will interfere with her relationship with the HOF.  I don't want to hear in DA4 that they broke up because of her commitments.

Leliana rewrites Chantry law so she can sleep with the Warden. This after she priorly waves her relationship in the face of Southern Thedas.

That OG Divine. Absolutely no fucks given.

I can see everyone that isn't Orlais leaving this 'new Chantry'. Isn't it amusing that 'the Chantry needs to burn' dialogue options count as points for Leliana as Divine?

No developer ever claimed that an Inquisitor who doesn't support every one of Cassandra's actions is "noncanon". Furthermore, you don't have to be rude to Cassandra for her to take issue with you; it's a matter of opposing her ideologically (like my Lavellan did), from making the mages allies to supporting Briala and allowing the Grey Wardens to remain in Orlais.

No dev ever claimed Leliana was one of my closest friends, but apparently she is. No dev claimed Alistair would be salty about the life he gave up, but he is, and no dev claimed that Morrigan only gets hotter with age.

I think Leliana is great depending on what I think I could do with her.  Force change, give people a kick in the balls, propel the world forward quickly.  Shake the people's ideas of the old status quo. The world is changing and people are changing, and the Chantry is holding too many back. In other words, I would use Leliana to shake the tree to get more people thinking, a contrasting old vs new way of thinking. But I would hardly consider her to be the one to actually make those long term changes. That would be up the Inquisition and the new Divine who will replace her after she gets murder knifed for the cause.

Viv is awesome for moderate change, which is odd cause she's a mage. But I see her bringing about lots of changes (for mages mostly) but more of the "behind closed doors" variety. She's enough to make people feel uncomfortable and question their views on tradition but comfortable in the fact that she is keeping the mages at bay and the Templars strong. I also think she is the best bet for overall Mage freedom because without power in Thedas, you're not truly free. With Viv, Mages will most likely end up with political power and once the rebellions are squashed then people will most likely settle down while the Mages obtain power in the shadows.

Cass would be my last pick as Divine. I don't even know what her reforms are. It just seems like the same old same old with bits and pieces of change here and there. I can sort of see everything just going back to the way it was. which isn't a bad thing for players who want that.

Cassandra never claims that the Inquisitor and her are close friends when she asks for your assistance (presuming the two are not on good terms).

She is more of a Yangire than a Yandere.

At least hardened Leliana is.

Anyway I still put her on the throne because I love crazy.

I like Leliana because her ending will be chaotic. Either the Chantry implodes on itself and/or mages gain unprecedented freedoms throughout southern Thedas. Vivienne has that potential too. Cassandra I think is probably the best person out of the three, but she is the least likely to bring forth any significant change.

Leliana and Vivienne create official precedents that will be remembered by history, a mage can become divine, a divine can declare mages free. I dunno Leliana and Vivienne make for more exciting/chaotic endings which for me is ideal.

Cassandra is best Divine.

'Cause badass warrior Divine? Badass warrior Divine.

InquisitionEpilogueSlide4-2.png

To hell with the other two, the Divine being a woman who punches bears in the face in the name of Andraste is too good to resist. The other ones are actually incorrect choices.

For real.

You make the right decision when you put a woman who could punch anything in the face in the name of Andraste. I wholeheartedly support Cassandra for the Divine. The other ones are incorrect choices, indeed. There can be only one.

For real.

Really, the only downside to picking Cass as Divine is the relationship complications.

This argument is entirely subjective, and ultimately comes down to an individuals personal opinions on what is "good" or "bad" for Thedas. Everyone is right and everyone is wrong.

Besides, I doubt anyone is going to be converted to another side in the argument. This is BSN after all.
