They once said you could actually end up only Cassandra at the end. What the hell happened to that?

 

They presumably realized "being able to complete the game" > "outcome only a minor portion of the audience would see or care to see".

I had Vivienne leave. Oh man she hated me soooo bad.

So yeah companions can leave you. Not false advertising.

whoa, how!? i thought the most she would do is redecorate. I had no idea she would actually leave.

After finishing the story. Disapproval was high enough she just up and left. Guess I had to wait a bit for it to happen but it did.
