Some people complain too much. Me included! I've been railing about this game, non-stop and playing another game with great interest. That's all that I had to say really...
Lack of gay representation at the War Table.

You're the only person in the world who can close slits in the sky that spawn demons. Are you going to spend your time courting a noble or closing as many rifts as possible and trying to stop the guy who caused this? Courting the nobles is the job of you advisers, as seen in the game.
I have also gone to talk to the Chantry, when it's required. I have taken companions to take care of their business. Actually, it's not just the job of the advisors, in Josie's personal quest you will twice go deal with nobles, and you can even sleep with one of them to get what you want. If you're romancing her, you'll be able to go fight a duel for her too.
This equates to simply this: The perceived lack of a gay person at the War Table can easily be addressed with the Inquisitor. Now, if you're adverse to dealing with this issue yourself, why bring it up in the first place? Because reading your responses it seems fairly evident that the idea of having to deal with this yourself is revolting to you for some reason.

Addressing the Chantry, aka one of the most important factions at the time is much more important that getting the favors of a noble. Companion quests like Josie's are equivalent to the the fetch quests in the game, they are there to take up time as a game play mechanic. They are not part of the main story. Having your advisers do bed diplomacy would not take away from the plot.
How is dealing with such issues myself revolting? I just think its ridiculous for the only man/woman in Thedas who can stop the sky from tearing up, to play diplomat with some random noble just for a favor. Thats what the war table is for, for your advisers to shine.

I only read the first post but I'm pretty sure African Americans and Indians don't exist in Dragon Age...nor is homosexuality a considered factor when it comes to military (Cullen), spies (Leliana) and diplomacy (Josephine)....in any regard. I can't even think of an example where a council would need a straight/bi/homosexual representative.

^^^ This is supposed to be "Fereldan", so any "African-Americans", any "Indian" thing is out. This isn't America, or even Earth really. It's a fictional land. The thing that annoys me is that Fereldan keeps changing. Bioware isn't being consistent with anything at all.

They could do this, but I don't believe there'd be enough interest garnered to make it happen.

It wouldn't add anything to it either, apparently, since your scenario isn't important enough for the Inquisitor to deal with it. I'd also point out that, since this would indeed fit into the catch all of "fetch quest", it's not even important enough to matter. What is it that this noble has to offer that's going to benefit that gay soldier you were talking about? Is catering to that soldier going to somehow make my job as the Inquisitor easier? In so far as I can tell, my soldiers all eat, no matter how they view themselves. They all have equal housing, they all get the same training. So what's this mission going to do for me, that it's important enough that you feel we need another advisor, but it's not important enough to just go do it with the Inquisitor?

Somebody please wash "hong"s mouth/mind out with soap. That's what we all used to do in an existential crisis...wash each other's mouth's out with soap. It was cleansing in a puritan way.

Yeeeeeeeah... Um, what about a gay Inquisitor?
I haven't really read the thread, and I'm just throwing it out there, but I'm pretty sure the "War Table" is represented well enough if the Inquisitor is gay. I mean, who's not more important at the War Table than the Inquisitor?
Surely a homosexual leader is more than enough representation, and we even have Leliana being in a homosexual relationship with a female Warden, where Cullen may ask her about the Warden if she was from the Circle.
P.S. Why in the hell do people call her "Liliana"? The 'e' is quite clearly there. Soooo many people get that wrong. Heck, even Varric Tethras/Brian Bloom calls her "Lil-lee-an-ah" when he asks Solas who is the broodiest or whatever in banter. The OP obviously thought that that was her name, considering the careful(-ish?) writing.

There already are gay people in DA:I.
When it comes to future content... i think Bioware are busy with other things rather than appeasing your sexual desires on who should be standing around War Table.

That is a very good point, but I suspect that the OP wasn't asking, due to this being in the Scuttlebutt board. Unless it was moved here.

Some people call Kaidan: "Kaiden" as well
Maybe it's some translation thing, that some translated or subbed versions of game have Liliana and Kaiden in them. Other than that I have no idea what it could be about since lot of people do it, it can't just be typos either.

I never played Mass Effect (and I don't ever intend to, irrespective of ME3's ending). How is it supposed to be pronounced? "Dehn" or "dahn/dan"? Because saying "Kai-dan" is hard-ish, and could easily have them confuse the 'a' for an 'e,' while Leliana is pronounced "Lel-ee" not "Lil-ee," so the distinction for her name should be quiet clear.
Hmm, while I'm on the subject, people spell and call Varric "Verric". While I am from a primarily English speaking country, I've always gotten the English names right Well, except for Tevinter, where I spell it Tervinter sometimes, and I thought someone who follows the Chantry was an Andrastrian, not an Andrastian, yet I'm certain it was called "Andrastrian" in Origins.
I think people say them too quickly.

Well personally I can't pronounce english really so I haven't much though of pronounciation stuff ^^;
I wonder why it would carry to written text though? Or maybe people play without subtitles and just assume how the name is written. Or then they just want to be rebels.
