Why can't I dislike posts?
I'm pretty sure there's a Facebook page dedicated to this immensely important question. Whenever a friend posts a baby picture or an instagram-esque shot of his or her breakfast, and I don't feel like commenting, I'd like to just put a thumbs down to say that I saw this and think it's meh.
Bioware is discriminating gays in favor of lesbian and bisexual females.
More Transgender would be great too. I always wanted to romance a transgender.
I feel discriminated! There is not a signal hillbilly as my adviser. I want that good old bango playing as soon as I walk in The War Room. And every time I complete a mission, I want that rep saying, "Hey MA! This fury little critter done did good!"
I also want missions to represent this adviser too. Such as: "Collect X amount of road kill on the main road to Orlais" and "More Moonshine equipment is needed for the Avvar."

Because its easy to accuse someone of being a bigot/homophobe/racist/sexist/animal hating ******* and shut down any form of conversation.

You fail to consider the Inquisitor, who may be in a same-sex romance with someone that is not present at the war table. Although their partner is not there, the Inquisitor is THE leader, and therefore there is gay representation. Josephine and Leliana could also be considered gay representation if they are romancing/have romanced someone of the same sex, even though they are bisexual or possibly pansexual individuals. There are too many ifs, ands, or buts involved, in my opinion, for someone to see this, point at Bioware, and accuse them of not trying hard enough to be inclusive. They have not made it impossible for a gay person to help lead the country. The options are there in spades.

On a more serious note, there are no asians in Thedas. You can't even create a very convincing one in the CC. That's about, what, one third of the human population? And people say the game is diverse.

I was able to recreate Ming-Na Wen fairly accurately in the CC. You just have to have good references and be ready to spend about 1-2 hours tweaking.

I guess they could model some to look like them, but I kinda want a whole country to go along with it too. I'm kind of tired of Tevinter and I've never even been there yet.
josephine isn't indian, she's antivan. antiva is based on medieval italy.

You can and with some very successful results, just dig around Character Creator subforum.

It's a mix of both Italians and our Spanish cousins. And we are very familiar with Fereldan/English people. In effect, the only ones we don't get along are French/Orlesians fellows.....

I'm sure that a lack of gay representation at the war table played a huge part in why Dragon Age: Inquisition was recognized by media advocacy organization GLAAD for its portrayal of LGBT characters, earning GLAAD’s Special Recognition Award?

You know, I'm one who's all for gender equality, freedom of speech and combating discrimination and segregation, but this representation thing is beginning to sound annoying.
The War Table is not a reunion for political debate. it's a meeting to discuss war strategy.
If you're gay or not, it won't make a difference when plotting strategies that can result in the life or death of thousands.
If you're so bothered by this supposed injustice, just make a gay Inquisitor. There. You're gay and you have the final word on anything Inquisition-related. Happy?
