i have made a few characters now and i always make sure to spend a decent amount of time on them so they look good in game, but i have noticed that certain displays of emotion look quite strange for instance my elf just looks downright mental when he is frowning but looks fine the rest of the time, if it is possible i think it would be cool if you could test different emotions on your character while in customisation, so you could see what your character looks like when they are happy, sad and angry.
also im getting quite over seeing the same peasant outfit everytime im in skyhold it just strikes me as strange that the leader of anything would dress in what look like pyjamas, please make it so you can change the clothes that you wear while in skyhold via the skyhold customization thing where you change your throne and all that.
what does everybody else think ?
character customization update!?

Yeah, I do feel weird when my Inquisitor suddenly makes a sad or surprised face in-game and I'm like "NO I DID NOT HAVE THIS IN MIND IN THE CC"
But then again, that's a lot of programming there to make them separate features with the CC. Maybe it could be with the "test voice" part, like when they say the line, they say it with the appropriate emotion on their faces? That way you see your Inquisitor's face truly in action, not just talking with a straight face as s/he shouts "You leave me no choice!" xD
As for the Skyhold outfits... so far, mods exist. ;; I wish it was like Mass Effect though, where you have choices for your casuals.

Yeah, it all depends on how well the face was formed over the head and teeth in the CC. The elf I made now looks fine but I wanted her to have slightly showing teeth, and now whenever she makes even the smallest of smiles it's a nightmare of teeth showing over the cheeks and lips, etc. Or my qunari seemed to make expressions only 5% of the time and looked about to fall asleep due to the eyes not being big.
And yes, the pyjamas are horrible.

When I first got to Skyhold and my Inquisitor was wearing the ugly pyjamas I panicked because I thought she lost the armor she was wearing. I went to the inventory and re-equipped it there... but then outside of the pause menu it was back to the PJs. Only after reloading Skyhold several times did I realize the pyjamas weren't a bug. >.<
What I really want from the CC aside from the expression + voice tester (which is a really good idea btw) is better lighting. Yes, it matches the lighting of the intro scene and is visually dramatic, but still. The lighting is horrible for seeing all the details of the face, and especially the different hairstyles if the hair color is dark.

The "sadface" expression is just downright weird though, on any character. It's the face your quizzy makes when Cass helps him/her back up after falling down on the snowy path. It looks weird and way cartooney, so it makes every face look bad. XD
Yep that one is a really weird tragic mask face. Same with the half smile. All emotion animations are a bit too cartooney and the annoying part is that you can't test them in CC.
And it's frustrating how hese expression tend to stick for a very long time after the appropriate moment has passed. For instance I had teased Cassandra over her vigorous writing and then had the stupid grin deforming my IQ face the whole "was she or wasn't she?" conversation. Very inappropriate and downright weird because the voice doesn't match the expression.

The jim jams wouldn't be as bad if you could at least pick different colours.
