I just noticed how weird the arrow drowing/firing is. I did some research : Combat archers have arrows on OUTSIDE of the bow, not INSIDE.

Ugh, dude. We all saw this on Facebook. Hollywood style is fine, let them focus on story.

Not true. Some bows are different. I own an english longbow and the arrow goes on the inside. You tilt the bow to the right so you can draw/aim/ shoot better.

There is a ton of technical historical things wrong with the weapons and armour in DA. Call it artistic license and don't worry about it.

i find it quite opposite. I see the armor and outfits and they look like they would actually work (except maybe the giant two handed swords) at least compared to most video game armor designs...

Yeah I don't even care at this point. Regardless of anything, it's a vast improvement over what we started with in Origins.

I think they are knives. Daggers are short. Knives are longer.

Is it yew wood?
I've been wanting to make a yew longbow for ages but it's just so dangerous and I need the time and workshop to do it

Honestly...I had it made for me and the guy said the handle was maple, but I forget what the rest of it was...it's handmade and it's pretty awesome.

Most longbows are a composite of solid and flexible woods. They need to maintain their originally shape and that can't be done with a single wood type typically
